The Return of Needled!
Hello everyone. Some of you may remember me, Needled, from when I joined months ago. I frequently posted on the site until I moved and no longer had access to the internet. After several additional moves, and regaining the world wide web, I'm back! Since I'm sure many more people have joined, and some of the old members might not remember me, I decided to post another introduction.
My name is Samantha, and I am fourteen years old. I will turn fifteen in mid-September. I am currently living in North Carolina, but that should change soon. I was born in Michigan, and have moved back in forth between MI and NC over the course of my life. I've also lived in Northern California for a little over a year.
One of the things I am most passionate about is Music. I have the chinese symbol for music tattooed on my left hand. Two of my favorite bands are Hole and Nirvana. I like a varitety of bands and musicians. I like some music from the 70's, a lot of music from the 80's, and I love much of the music from the 90's. Some people may say my favorite genre of music would be grunge. I prefer not to label or place music in categories, because it seems to lose the ability to grow when this is done.
Some of my other interests include writing, reading, taking pictures, piercings, playing air hockey, street hockey, and tennis, going to concerts, solving puzzles ranging from sudoku to jigsaw, and last, but not least, meeting new people with ideas and interests similar to mine.
I look forward to posting more on the site and meeting new people!

Hi, Needled. I remember you. I remember I used to like you, and hoe that hasn't changed. Unfortunately, I may be the only one that remembers you that is left over here. But, of course, things change, and the new guys are cool, so I hope you like the place.

Welcome back!
Hurrah for Nirvana
I have very high respect for music lovers such as yourself, and I wonder, do you play a musical instrument?

Thanks for the welcome, guys.
Jillian- I remember you, too. That is unfortunate about many of the old members not being here anymore, but I agree, the new members are cool.
disorder- I sing, so I suppose I would say my voice is my main instrument. I do play a little of the clarinet and piano. I have a guitar, but cannot play it because I don't have an amp, and the friend who was going to teach me moved before I could learn. I do really want to learn though, that just seems like it would be the icing on the cake. I just have to save up for the amp, and teach myself!

I wish I could sing, I think my class is a little sick of my out-of-tune warblings of Losing my Religion whilst standing on a desk.
Hmm.
I myself play the piano, saxophone and drums, but I've always wanted to be able to play the guitar. I tried to learn, but I'm a pussy and it hurts my fingers

I think if someone taught me the basics of the guitar, I would be pretty good at it. I have very flexible fingers, and usually I'm really good at performing any task that involves using my fingers and hands. And if I were in your class, I think I would quite enjoy your rendition of Losing My Religion...
