Oooh! sounds interesting indeed! I have heard of Zombina and the Skeletones, and also Ghost of Lemora, but actual CD's are a bastard to come by, so I haven't actually heard them. I like Inkubus Sukkubus though

Gorelesque is pretty self explanatory, yep- basically you combine burlesque and gory stuff and... yeah.
Pink Hearse are on Myspazz if you want to track em down there. They're an all-girl punky/deathrock act. My night's not going to be the Red Velvet Elegance style of thing, it's going to be campy B-Movies, Rocky Horror and if at all possible, I'll be projecting 'Carry On Screaming' over the dancefloor.

Need to contact Martin Oldgoth again soon to make sure he's still up for the DJ slot along with Psychozombie and Jussard (who've been shamelessly pillaged from Blood and Velvet). Would be good to find another DJ or two as well, who can play old-school goth, deathrock, punk and cheese.
And need to print flyers and get some more online presence for this thing.

I have obviously not tried this, but anything with low growing branches, possibly oaks.. or new growth coming out from the bottom. Small scrub trees may also work, like,blackthorn ( which has extra kinky points due to the fact you will almost certainly be prickled and scratched on it's big thorns) . Personally I am superstitious about trees and tree lore, so I would never do this myself, but those trees may work in terms of height. Anything the cuff will fit around without snapping the branches or getting stuck.
Do you not think using a rope would be much easier in terms of practicality? Easier to remove and no danger of a lost key. You could also be cut out of your ropes when done.
