Hm. I intend to pierce the fuck out of myself when I'm "of age"-- assuming, of course, that I still feel that it's a good idea. Until then, I suppose I'll just have to wait. Might use some clip-ons, but I'm not going to pretend that they're real. That's just stupid.
I would get bored of my tattoos, but that doesn't mean that everyone else does. Since I was little, I've drawn on myself. It reached a peak last year-- I often ended the school day with a full sleeve of ink drawings on my left arm and hand, not to mention on any exposed skin that I could reach with my right hand. I love drawing on skin, perhaps because it isn't permanent and can change daily-- that's why I like henna.
...Except that I got a henna tattoo in Brazil and it turned into a nest of oozing blisters for weeks. It was the dye used to make it black that did it, apparently.

Body modification is sooooooo trendy. I would never get a tattoo. It's a disgrace on the holy temple that is the body.

i can speak of nipple piercings, as both of mine are done. to me, it didn't really hurt...much, after the first four hours, they were just sore. if you live near cincinnati, i could tell you a great place! both of my nipples costed me only $60. of course, you can't let anyone lick, suck or otherwise put their mouth close to your piercings, as they are fresh puncture wounds and would get seriously infected. so, after a month or so, being that the ring pushes out from underneath, makes the nipples quite sensitive

What?
Well, what you believe is yours.
Just because it is trendy doesn't mean anything to me. I have designed most of my own so it is more like my art on my canvas.
Plus, my body is going to rot after I die. What a temple that is.

I had my lip pierced once, quit liked it, didn't hurt at all when it went in: but as soon as I left the studio I almost fainted... but I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to things like that.
No tattoo, but I am planning on getting one at some point. As soon as I can think of what tattoo I want.
Always fancied having my tongue pierced, but been put off ever since my fainting incident.

The tongue bleeds... alot. I didn't think that it hurt too much, though. Of course, I did mine myself when I was 17, so take that with a grain of salt.

I couldn't do it myself, sounds too much like hard work I've heard it bleeds a lot, and that it swells up and you have to eat ice cream for a few weeks.
Still, maybe one day.

I want to get the a matching lip ring on the other side of the one I already have but I'd have to take it out for work (if I ever find any).
p.s. cool hair Geisha and you have very colorful markings.

I have had, my eyebrow pierced, and my tongue pierced. The eyebrow ring my daughter ripped out when she was about 9 months old, and I have not had the courage to get it redone since my youngest is only 2 and still thinks earings are great to pull on. The tongue ring just never stopped hurting, even after 3 months, so I took the stupid thing out.
I have one tattoo. Its my first one, but probably not the last. I got it for my birthday (about 4 months ago).

I have 2 barbells in my eyebrow and I can't get them out. doh! I'll probably just go back to the hot man meat that pierced them and give him sad puppy dog eyes and ask him to take them out and put in my clear retainers...so I can get 2 more in my other eyebrow and my job won't notice.

Idealy I'd like to have barbells across the full length of both eyebrows...not so that I have unibrow made of metal, there will be a gap between like my brows.

Santerea - the new tat is SO pretty. Feminine without that Barbie factor - I like it!
Speaking of piercings - I can't wait til I'm out - I'm going to pierce my labret and my nose.
I really want to pierce through my lip but I've been told that there's usually some larger veins in there and a piercer who's not experienced may not be able to tell BEFORE pokey time and I don't want to risk that. Piercers out here are good at the usual stuff but I haven't seen them do much out of the ordinary so I'm going to wait on that one.
Oh, Oubliette - make sure you change out your (I'm guessing acrylic?) retainers every once in awhile because bacteria is absorbed into the material and after a while will irritate your skin
