I have to take fish oil as part of my required vitamin daily intake. It's supposed to be very good for you.

I'm so very angry, and I don't know why. I want to tear the shit out of something with my teeth, screaming the whole time. Yes, I realize that would be difficult. It also sounds like fun.

I'm beginning to suspect that I only ever get mad to amuse myself.

Huh, sounds like how I get when I'm alone at work and all my techs are being complete idiots. Sadly it seems to be a common thing.

If you makes you feel any better Circle I spent most of tonight screaming.

Er, yeah. I think the thread's still alive in the 'Whining' forum somewhere. And it wasn't in a huff, but it was terribly melodramatic.

No, he's like a sexual camel. He can go almost forever without it. Or so it seems.

I just explained to him that I was a part of this community and I care about a lot of the people here.Plus I was mega-bitchy the whole time.

He hasn't tried to keep me away since then.

The last time I was away was because I lost my internet and couldn't get it back for a few months. Damn those light bills! But I went to the library occasionally and popped by.

If you're purchasing fish oil for help with moods, focus on finding an oil with lots of EPA.

"The two active ingredients of omega-3 fish oil are EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). EPA is considered to be the ingredient with the therapeutic effect, so it is important to buy omega-3 that contains more EPA than DHA. A pilot study of EPA on depressed patients produced a beneficial effect while in another study DHA proved a total dud."

So far, studies indicate that the best dose is 1 gram of EPA. However, I had trouble finding an oil with that dose as most of them seemed to have a greater proportion of DHA. Finally I found one called Omega 3 Mood in the mental health section of the vitamin store. It looks like this:

There are some details here

Okay, the ones I picked up list the following:

Fish Oil - 1000 mg ____ EPA - 180 mg ____ DHA - 120 mg

I don't know if that is good or not, but at 99 cents for 30 softgels, it fits in my budget nicely.
