Greeting everyone.

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking here for a while and like the newest site update, and decided to do an intro.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Job - Self employed with my new company and work as a chef at night to supplement my income. Hobbies - Exploring the Astral realm, enjoying the drastic shifts between quiet time(meditation) and chaos(concerts). Painting and playing guitar(wish I had more time for this).

2. Where are you from?
Orlando, FL.
oh and recently spawned from the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, west of Gargoroth.

3. Who is your favorite author?
I have enjoyed the works of Ayn Rand, Edgar Allan Poe and Aldous Huxley.

4. What are your favorite films?
The Last Emperor, Clockwork Orange, LTR, Casshern, Hero, Empire of the Sun, (The first 30 minutes of Bram Stoker's Dracula), the subtle director commentaries on the ideologies behind the Animatrix/Matrix trilogy) and the Japanese Cyberpunk genre.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I don't necessarily feel marriage is necessary to enjoy the trust, companionship and love of another. But if I were to choose it would be Pachabel's Cannon in D.

6. At your funeral?
Current 93 - Angel Since Yesterday.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I believe consciousness continues past physical death, but I would choose to die in my sleep. (Not very exciting, but it beats getting your head blown off!)

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Umm, a ten foot long one, made of cryogenically modified melt-resistant Godiva chocolate.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I tend to wear a lot of hard to find t-shirts of bands or movies with tall boots and black pants, sometimes Tripp style.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Blissfull ignorance that everything would magically work out. Long days of solitude in the woods, reading all day, having the time to fantasize and to just "be".

11. What's your favorite band?
Well I'll just list a few spread across several genres I like:Theatres des Vampires, Skinny Puppy, Legendary Pink Dots, Arcana, Wumpscut, Current 93, Fear Factory, Howard Shore, Danny Elfman, Chants of Maldoror, Cannibal Corpse, Velvet Acid Christ. Also Hemi-Sync(feel free to ask what this is, if you don't know)

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Degrees in Culinary Arts, AS., Computer Information Systems, BS. and the school of Hard Knocks called Life.

13. Why did you join?
To walk amongst the legion of the dead. Oh and to share ideas with others of creative intelligence.

Hmm. The best one is called "The Lion of Belgium", which is really dark chocolate with a butterscotch/caramel gooey center. . Here I found a link to a pic of it Yummy
but I'm not an addict, I swear....
Funny because I went to Belgium several years ago, and their local chocolate shops were even better than Godiva.

Welcome, Kraven. Is it ok if I just write Kraven and not the Obscuria part, for time's sake?
Hi Xnguela,

Sure , for time's sake that's cool.
PS. You have an interesting "occupation". It would be good to have you around in a snow storm and to torture little kids with yellow snowcones!

Cheap? Bah! Never.

Welcome, Kraven. Like the intro. The Babygoth tag will be gone soon... as long as you stick around. I hope you do.
