^^ That is going to be awesome. I saw Slayer with System of a Down (and some other bands who I forgot) a few years ago, and last year I saw them on the Jagermeister Music Tour with Shadows Fall, Mastodon, and some crappy band that got boo'ed. It rocked! Some advice to you: get there early. Slayer shows are always so packed that you can't even see the band.

i won't be going to the sisters show in atlanta... i was planning to, but i don't have anyone to go with, so... oh well, maybe next time. but probably not then either.
you know your life is pathetic and pointless when the most exciting thing you have planned for your weekend is watching CSI on dvr and seeing how many episodes you can squeeze in to one night. i have 18 more to go.

NIN is playing in Portland in May and Bauhaus is opening. Does anyone else think that is fucked up? Bauhaus opening for NIN? Anyway, I probably won't go because I didn't really like NIN's last album. I mean, it was OK, but it was no "Downward Spiral" and it is at a huge stadium, which I hate. I am short, so I can never see the band unless I am right at the front of the "pit." I saw NIN in 1994 in an arena, and it was awesome, but I was also Extremely Stoned, which I probably will not be if I go to this show. I don't know if it would be as exciting non-stoned, mainly due to the fact that I would not be able to see, and am too much of a wuss to go in the pit. Sorry if that is nonsensical, but I am buzzed right now. My boyfriend is at work, I have no money, and I am just bored enough to drink a bottle of wine by myself and hang out on gothic.net all night.

I don't remember the date, but they're playing at Clark Co. Ampitheatre. Sometime in May. I found out about it by listening to 94.7fm in my car on the way to work today. I don't even think tickets have gone on sale yet.
I want to go, since I love NIN and Bauhaus, but I really hate arena shows. I don't think I will go. I don't know. ...

I do too, but damn I want to see Bauhaus at least once before Peter is too old to tour. 
I want to hear " Wish" live so very badly. Ahh, how awesome that would be..
The last show we went too was Ministry..
And that was WAY too long ago.

I haven't had the chance to come online for more than a couple of minutes lately, so I've only just caught up with this thread. I just want to send big fluffy hugs to EPS - I'm glad your test is over and done with sweetie. When do you get the results?
Tenet - I can relate, albeit on a very small scale, to your situation. I've never had to go through what you have with your mum (my mind boggles at how a parent could be so irresponsible and careless!) but I have had reason to fall out with my mum over the times she failed to protect me as a teenager. All I can say is that forgiving her and moving on has made life a lot easier for me - bottling up the pain and resentment just seemed to increase the damage done. I suggest you do whatever it takes to allow yourself to move on with your life, whether that means spending time with her or not. *Sends hugs to tenet as well*

Being Sick Sucks
Man, I got so sick last night I literally thought I was going to die. It was pretty scary. I was having talks (more like undiscernable moaning) with people who weren't there and everything. I think it was the flu (had a fever and everything), but now it's gone. All the pain of the flu crammed into 8 hours of hellish pain. I don't know what happened. About 6p I started feeling it, then it gradually took over. I made a call to my parents around 8 and asked my mom to bring some ginger ale, as I didn't want to attemp driving. Well, it got so bad they had to take me to their house, where it got to it's worst. My dad wanted to take me to the hospital. I stumbled my way to the bathroom and threw up at one point during it all, then got back into bed for more torture. After I passed out with exhaustion from fighting it til 3a, I woke up the next morning just fine. That's easily the sickest I have ever been.

God...I can feel it coming. Money is going to stress me out again. And when it does I start selling some of my stuff. Nothing that I really need but I hate doing it. I had to report my acident to my insurance company. I couldn't help it. I felt like I had to. Now it's bumped 160 to 1040 every 6 months. Hopefully I can get enough money to pay for my tuition payment and insurance this month. I feel like crying. I don't deal well with stress at all. My tax return coming soon (like tomorrow) would help greatly.

I think it was my antibiotic. It was only the third day I had been taking it, and this happens with antibiotics. I hope I never have to feel pain like that again. Put me up against physical pain of any intensity and I can handle it, but sick pain is beyond anything that I can take.
