What's wrong with Creed? Or rap? Or Guns and Roses? I can somewhat understand Clay Aiken. I mean, I dislike his music, mainly because of the beat. Something just seems off, like it's either too short, or it's off with his voice.
But Creed isn't that bad, some songs aren't my favorites, but other than that, they are not half-bad, and I really like some rap, like De La Soul, Sugar Hill Gang, or Judakiss. And Guns and Roses? What the hell are you smoking? While I agree with Wolfmoon's description of Axel, I don't really give a fsck who's playing, as long as they make good music. Which I believe Guns and Roses did, with Sweet Child O' Mine, Welcome to the Jungle, and New Rose.
I haven't heard Good Charlotte, so I can't comment on them.
Also, what's with everyone ganging up on Slipknot? So they are a bit mainstream, and a bit redundant. I still like their work. Stuff like Purity, Welcome, and (Sic) really get me up and going. Cradle of Filth is also one of my favorites. Why? Because they have nice, slow, songs. Not all of it is the "DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE, tralalalla, DIE DIE DIE, wha wha wha", of most bands. [I'm sorry, but I really dislike bands that I can't adjust to understand the lyrics.]
Finally.
Linkin Park. Why does everyone hate them? So they whine a bit. I still like the beat, and how some of it makes me think about how fortunate I am, not to be having alot of these problems, and how I can help others who are. Then again, even I can't tolerate some of the stuff on Meteora. [Breaking the habit, anyone?]
Now.
Insane Clown Posse. I'm sorry. But when you can't form a song specifically to use the word "Fuck" alot, then you tick me off. Limp Bizkit, a talented band in my opinion, did this. I refuse to listen to that song. The rest of ICPs stuff, is more of a cult-based story then anything.

Good Charlotte, Limp Bizkit, Creed, Linkin Park, ICP, 50 Cent, Clay Aiken, Skinhead punk, woman-beating rappers and rockers, emo and 80's hair cheese metal all suck monkey ass.
Cradle of Filth is cool. So is Slipknot, sort of. I like GnR. I don't like that Axl is a woman beater, but I still like Appetite for Destruction! Phil Anselmo is a racist, but I still like Pantera.

Hmmm...I actually like Linkin Park, and admit to having a few Slipknot songs in my mixes. I also have some poppy stuff in my mixes, tons of classical music CDs, a Barenaked Ladies CD, and I could go on. I was raised on Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond, Cat Stevens and Christopher Cross, so I have VERY varied musical tastes. I even like old school rap. Now hip-hop (because really, it isn't rap anymore) is complete crap. I can not find any redeeming qualities in any of that stuff.
P.S. Stryper and Creed - BWAHAHA!! Right up their with Poison and Warrant....

Early rap was chock-full of meaningful lyrics (notably Tupac Shakur). I'm not saying that meaningful rap is completely dead; I'm sure if Lauryn Hill came back with another album, it would be just as memorable as The Miseducation. But modern rap is getting ridiculous.
Out of the list, Good Charlotte is the worst band.
I wish Hilary Duff and Jessica Simpson would stop clouding the radio and television. Their voices are just too perfect for my sinful ears.

Because the woman, although she dresses slutty and sings pop, has an amazingly powerful voice. In addition, she recently received an award for her song "You Are Beautiful" because she featured GLBT people in a favorable light in today's pop culture. So although I'm not a fan, she's not a "worst". Certainly not a best, but far from a "worst".
If you really want to hear a "worst", check out Prussian Blue. In addition to hate-filled racist White Supremacist lyrics, they're shit at singing. So, terrible music, terrible lyrics... I'd have to say they're definitely a "worst".

Terrible grammar; always tried to write "smart" posts that had nothing to do with the threads.
We made fun of her, and told us something like this, without the good grammar:

I actually watched a documentary on racist music a few months ago...I was so disgusted by some of the groups they featured I had to switch off the tv.
One singer was acclaimed the 'Madonna of White Supremacy music' 0_0

Ooh, one of the news shows in my area did a segment on the girls recently. I was listening to the shit they were saying (like "Hitler was a great man") and I couldn't help but think that in order to get away with heinous statements like that, they'd better be really talented musicians...

I also saw them on another documentary. Playing computer games in which they had to eliminate other races. Eugh. There was a topic in the politic section when I first joined & it had a link to their website. I think they 'toned down' the racist stuff to appeal to them mainstream. Either way, they're rubbish & shouldn't pollute the world with their music.
Sorry to go on but it's one of those things that really gets my goat.
