| Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Metallica `Orion`
A classic instrumental from one of their best albums, Metallica were one of the big four of thrash metal (Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth) for a reason !.
They kicked ass !!!.

GAWD! I'm insuted that you felt I didn't know that.
I love Metallica. I knew the thing about the big 4, and I knew the song. It's 15 minutes long. Woo! I'm a genious!

Testament are amazing, Alex Skolnicks (Spelling?) virtuoso guitar work has to be heard to be believed, my favourite albums are `The Legacy` and `The New Order`.
I saw Testament on the Clash of the Titans tour in 1990, and they were incredible.
Favourite Testament song, `Disciples of the Watch`.

Nice... I just dowloaded some stuff from em. They're great. Previously I had only heard a cover of a song by Metallica.
Children of the damned -- Therion/ Fight fire with fire -- Therion(It changed songs.)

Go Russian metal!
Hey, didn't Ice always use to listen to that? Where are you, kamerat?

Ice always used to listen to Russkie HEAVY fuckin' METAL!

Ok, so.. technically, it's Russian Reggae, but that's forgivable, eh?

Hey, good to see you man! Hope everything's skating along nicely with you.
Jah Division are Russian too? I didn't know that... Got their "Dub Will Tear Us Apart" EP. I love dub as it is, and when it's Joy Division songs getting the warm and fuzzy echo-treatment, it's even better.

It was "Lifelines of Depths" - I downloaded it from their website. Beautiful!
Has anyone here heard of Abney Park? I just came across them yesterday and I really like 'em!

"Control" by The Wake, one of the almost-forgotten U.$. Gothic bands of the 1990s. They were this nation's answer to Sisters Of Mercy.

Could you post a link to a Wake site? They sound interesting and I'm always looking for new music to listen to!
