Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Pleasure Forever - Hymn Harmonia
I have two buttons of this excellent dark post-punk/cabaret/organ & piano rock band (unclassifiable!) on my bag, from the two times I've seen them live. The bag is a rectangular black leather tele-loop amplifier case, actually. With shiny buttons and yellow stitching, so it matches my Docs.

I'm listening to the cd that is called Time Rite, don't know which song is playing....it was the first one I found and I was too busy to search for others, so I just bought it....yes, I like it
even though I just read that their older stuff was even better.
edit: thanks again for the hint!!

Yeah, I've only heard their stuff from 1973 - '75, and that is really amazing. "Time Rite", since it's from '89, doesn't feature Damo Suzuki, their brilliant first vocalist, but it might still be good. I'll check it out!
