I originally saw "Batman Begins" at the theaters on the IMAX screen. Just bought the two disk DVD set and watched it again tonight. I feel like I just got off of an amazing roller coaster ride! First "What Dreams May Come", then "Minority Report" and now this ... it's been a good run!
Loy, I'll be looking for the Neil Young and Bob Dylan films ... I love "The Last Waltz"!

At work today I watched the following movies:
Horror Of Dracula
Dracula: Prince Of Darkness
Dracula Has Risen From The Grave
Taste The Blood Of Dracula
Scars Of Dracula
Christopher Lee is THE man. I was in a Hammer mood today.

When I was browsing through a shop while looking for DVDs I found another Christopher Lee movie you might like if you haven't already seen it, 'The Satanic Rites of Dracula'.

<3`s Horrorgirl,
Horrorgirl, what would you say is your favourite Dracula film with Christopher Lee?.
The only Dracula films (by Hammer) I have in my collection are `Dracula AD1972` (one of my favourites), `The Scars of Dracula`, and `The Brides of Dracula`.
Hammer films rule!!!.

Ben-the greatest music documentary ever....."I Am Trying To Break Your Heart" about Wilco, followed really closely by "ResErection" about Turbonegro.
I'd also throw in "Dig", because it IS an amazing documentary, however it's about the relationship between the Brian Jonestown Massacre and the Dandy Warhols. Now, I'll admit that I was wrong about BJM sucking before (I'd only seen them live, and heard 3 recorded songs...then a friend of mine played their entire library for me....I'm wrong), but the Dandy Warhols....5 good songs out of how many albums? Sorry, but "suck" is a major understatment. They don't suck as bad as the Sisters Of Mercy, but they're still pretty annoying.
And why do people think I've got issues? I am sane, damnit!

it would be in jappanese but the dvd has the option of being english dubed...Its pretty good the outline or gist of the story is that this guy was drinking and got kidnaped..he was kidnaped for fifteen years without knowing why.he is released .he has five days to figure why all this happened. there are several twist and other details I left out.

oh,thats cool I haven't wached any french films lately. tears of the black tigers is from tailand but it was based to look like an american spagetti western. it has a fun feel to it but it also has a sad story to it.

Aren't spaghetti westerns Italian? With American actors, all right, but the director and often the language is Italian.

*pops on pedantic hat* It's actually a Korean film, so it would be in Korean.

Freaks (1932, Todd Browning)
A carnival barker displays a sideshow freak called the Feathered Hen and tells her story. Cleopatra, a trapeze artist with the carnival, is adored by a midget named Hans. Frieda, Hans' fiancée (also a midget), warns Hans that Cleopatra is only interested in him so that he will give her money. Cleopatra has an affair with Hercules, and when Frieda lets it slip that Hans is to come into an inheritance, Cleopatra and Hercules plan to get the money be having Cleopatra marry Hans. During the wedding reception, Cleopatra, although openly romantic with Hercules, is accepted by the freaks, but is revolted and mocks them. The freaks decide that they no longer need Hercules in their carnival and have a new career for Cleopatra all lined up, and make sure she doesn't "chicken" out. IMDB
I thought it was a very good film.

I just watched Blade 2. The costumes and set design are great. The fight scenes are like dance and sometimes beautiful. But none of the characters have any depth of personality, so as anything more than a visual treat it was fairly crappy. 4/10

Kung Fu Hustle, not by choice, my roommate insisted his friends bring it over. He then said it sucked and accused them of hyping it up.
This is the same sort of thing that has happened the last dozen times I've sat down to watch a movie.
As for the movie itself. You had better appreciate the cheese involved in what I think was supposed to be a kung fu satire movie. It was entertaining though.

I watched that movie and I have to say, the first hour was surprisingly entertaining. The only downside was the subtitles. Boy I hate those damn subtitles...

Xnguela,
That was an amazing film, yeah that was pretty impressive when he lit his cigar, also when they pursued the Strongman and Cleopatra at the end, and turned one of them into the chicken creature.

This movie pressed all the right buttons for me. I loved it. A double helping of cheese-flavoured quirk.
