I had two of my four exams for this semester. I did really well on the English but not so well at science. Feeling annoyed, I decided to come home and hang out here - where I have felt steadily more depressed ever since.

I woke up around 3 pm, having not slept until around 5 am, hopped on the computer...had a look round the net, watched some Iggy Pop clips, walked to the shop to get food for my 3 Cats, some Alcohol for me and pick up a parcel for my Husband, came home got drunk on sherry...listened to music and surfed the net a bit more....at some point I got Tea for my husband and I and now I have a massive hangover and I'm sitting here typing this and listening to Severance by Bauhaus.

So far today, I woke up, reluctantly got out of bed... Went to work and posted on Gnet while waiting for some files to copy over to my machine...I'm listening to "Song and Legend" by Sex Gang Children which I bought yesterday... The weather has been hot and humid here for the last couple of weeks and it's making me grumpy. I'm very bad at keeping hydrated. I'm going to go get some water now...

Today, i went to work, cleaned as ususal. I found my old Starcraft cd a few days so i gave it a crack again, and got my ass kicked by reavers on protoss mission 7 and 8. Gave up once mission 9 started, came to massey for a bike ride and some time away from home.

Well, I go up at 6am (which, for me, is goddamn early) to go to the airport and, obviously, catch a plane to see some of my family in Melbourne. But, because Launceston is a hole (no really, it is a hole, like a proper geographical one), the airport was lost in a splodge of thickass fog and all flights were cancled.
So home again, home again... to waste the rest of my day watching Stargate SG1 dvds...

I didn't do anything today, but last night I saw The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, a burlesque/vaudeville/sideshow act. Aside from some sloppy juggling, they were great.
Obscene balloon art, slack rope walking, precision bullwhip action, a creepy sad clown, Scotty the Blue Bunny, tampon-applicator kazoo music (plus a great one-man band) and lotsa hula hoop action. Not to mention a sword swallower who downed a neon light tube. And lived.
Good times. Go see them if you get the chance.

For lunch today I had a sandwich with pesto, turkey, random green leaves, and mushrooms in marie rose sauce on tomato bread...
That has been the highlight of my day so far...

had to return to college after study leave, oh well, at least my exams are over. i got given my 3000 word history mini-disitation and i found out that my brother, who's been at the download festival all weekend, got home at half one this morning then had to go in for a geogrpahy exam this afternoon.
and i walked to the bus stop from college in a thunderstorm (which was quite cool and very refreshing) with my friend who's scared of them (which wasn't so cool and refreshing)

I went to my friend Rachel's place. She lives in the bush. I Love her house.
Anyway, moving on. So we got bored so we went bushbashing (fun, fun, fun!). We found this part down past the creek that had the HUGEST manferns you've ever seen, and Rachel tried climbing one but it almost broke.
Then we headed back across the creek... and guess what? The bank collaped beneath my feet and I fell in. Creeks in Tasmania in the middle of winter are not warm.
I think I have a cold now.

I was working on my links page. I'd like to give my friends here a shout out, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna advertise this site as long as it's this screwed up. Even with the cheesy graphics and the tables, I'd still like to maintain the illusion that I'm trying to do a good job on the web site.

I got a new haircut. Lots of violet and red (because we're on school holidays now) and just a little brown to cover up the remaining blonde streaks from last time (some experiments are doomed before they begin...).
Then I had an optometrist appointment and was told that my eyes are great and my vision is actually improving.
I had a good day.

Did some bible study today, saw a my friend to find out that he was sick, caught the bus, came to massey to use the internet. Highlight of the day was that i got to have some roast beef marinated in ginger beer & prunes for lunch. Random but glorious to eat.

Ooh, what part are you studying at the moment, Corpsey?
As for me, I'm sat here with a banana/kiwi/maca/spirulina smoothy (the solstice barbecue left me feeling a tad delicate for a couple of days!), wondering what to do with myself.
I'm off to the cathedral a bit later to watch the youth group I wrote for, and then...
I don't know. But I know I have to find a new container for my handblender. The old one cracked. When I poured in the apple juice for my smoothy, it started leaking out rather rapidly. It looked like the container was having a wee...

Sounds like a good day. I had orange juice.
Other than that I left my friend's house after a tearful good-bye, because after all these years I will be returning home. It has been six interesting years in Texas, now going back to Utah. Happy about going back and seeing my friends and family, unhappy about saying good-bye to friends and family.
It was weird. Didn't really sink in, until today. However, all packed up and ready to go. No turning back now. It will be a few days, no computer access. This should be interesting.

Today, I wrote to friends, worked some more on my film, and watched `Clockwise` (starring John Cleese as a headmaster who gets lost on his way to a conference) and it is still really funny.

I went to Victoria Market and got a leather jacket. Then I got a big suitcase and lots of little Aussie trinkets to take to America in a little over a month. Now I'm all set to go... as soon as I get an American visa.

I worked on the freak babies I make in my free time to sell, just painting its skin and what not. I also watched the first episode of Venture Brothers season two.
