Woah, you live all the way up to Boston?
Can't you teleport Sanctropolis to Texas?

Hmm... I really should be sleeping. I have to drive a long way tomorrow early...with two little boys in the car. I'm taking as many snacks as I can so they'll keep quiet. I wonder what horrid music I will be forced to listen to.... I'm going to dig up my head phones and a good book. Thank goodness I'm not driving.

Geisha, Aw, I just missed you. I trundled off to bed just after my post. It's great to see you again!
I wish there was a place I could look on my computer or maybe a button I could push when I need an instant Geisha fix ... like openeing up my freezer when I want some "Death by Chocolate" icecream!
.
darkangel, the new job is ... challenging. It's a good thing, but it is demanding. It is the biggest company I've ever worked for, and the benefits and future opportunities are outstanding. But it is also the most taxing job as far as having to maintain a high level of concentration and urgent energy for stretches of up to 2.5 hours at a crack.
Who'd have thought answering customer service calls could be so intense? But this company has some very percise standards on how they want the customer treated, and there are over 500 detailed online procedurals that must be followed precisely to handle just about any customer situation that can occur. And they measure your performace in so many different ways that it is a bit intimidating.
So the job pays well, but you definitely are required to perform. It's a pay-for-performance company. I kinda like that. Cause I know as I look down the row at the neighboring desks and my co-workers manning their phones ... that none of them are slackers. They're all busting their asses. That is tremendously satisfying!
So I am stressing a bit at times and maybe not sleeping quite as much as I'd like because I am pushing myself to do better. But that is a good thing, Because one year from now, I can have a couple of company paid college credits behind me and the opportunity to bid on a better position within this huge company.
DA, short answer is (after all that rambling you patiently waded through), the job is working out exceedingly well, and I am excited about the future! Thanks for asking.

Everyone, do not go to "You are not Safe." The thread is a virus selling a drive cleaner with a pop up. It should be eliminated as fast as possible.
Luckily, I can read the thread before opening it. High five to the new site designer.

Oh! People like Geisha! Thus, I must like Geisha!
At least, Sanctus likes Geisha, and Sanctus has a good stellar-ass rating system. Hurrah.
Well, I thinks bjork now has the best avatar ever. I had a dream fairly similar to that picture like, a week ago. Strange, but interesting.
Uhm... I was gonna say something, but now I forgot. Damn. >_<

Does anyone know how long does it usually take for the SAT scores to be recieved?
P.S. I loved the Surrealist joke.

Hunh. My brother got his after two weeks, but my friend Rachel got hers after a few months.
They both took the 1600-point version... wierd. Anywhere within that time range I'm guessing.

GAH I'M GOING TO DIE OF BOREDOM!
Gnet is so dead at this hour.
Hmm, maybe I'll make some crispy bacon.
No, no, maybe some cereal.
Boo Berry cereal sounds pleasing.
Or maybe Trix?
Nope, Boo Berry.

Mine is blood GMT +8 (Malaysia/Hong Kong/Perth) time. Try being 12-16 hours different from most of the people on this site and feel the real deadness.

It amazes me that a symphony orchestra has all these people playing all these sophisticated, elegant instruments ... and yet there's still a guy in back who beats a couple of wooden blocks with a stick.
Hell, sometimes they even trundle out the triangle! And that's when I snicker.
...
"There's no heaven above.
There's no hell down below.
Just invisible men
in the emperor's clothes."

Hey, does anyone know of a place where I can host videos larger than 100-150 MB?

Hello Sanctus, and Korova, Ben and everyone.
Sanctus, if I don't leave periodically, then you wouldn't get mad enough at me to use your fists. And you KNOW how much I love it when you use your fists!
Ben, I really should start bottling my sass. I could make a killing.
Also, hello to that newb that's kissing my ass. You're a smart one, arn't ya?
