as much as i enjoy this gnashing of cyber-teeth, how about a time-out?
selfdestruction - you're new here. why not take the time to read our forum rules instead of prancing onto established territory and subsequently getting your hackles raised when existing members take issue with your presentation? aol and chat -speak are frowned upon inside the forum.
as the banner clearly states, we are a "literary" forum - first and foremost. the bickering going on inside your intro thread can continue ad nauseum, but to what end? is this really the way you want your persona perceived within a forum you've elected to join?
and please - there are quite a few married members here. the lovey-dovey stuff is rather juvenile, especially since no one here has any idea who you or your wife is, and would be more appropriate on some other site that encourages silly, syrupy, hollywood-driven, newlywed-type emotions. even our teen age members don't stoop to that level of behavior.
i'll extend a welcome.
and i hope you're more of a personality than some shallow display of - 'aren't-i-a-great-and-romantic-guy' - bucket of spilled puppy love along with an untapped ability to present yourself in a more mature light. seriously - the 'u' and 'lol' and 'enuf', etc. truly paint a childish picture.
