You're going into the depths of my mind, oh dear... well I think there's a fair bit of free space, just a bit dusty. Here's my 'pet dragon', it's actually a serpent of some sort. I haven't painted anything in welll over two years and before that I had never painted anything sp I'm quite proud of this.

I've missed the art thread...I like checking out everyones stuff (all very good by the way, keep it up! )
I did do my green angel (if anyone can remember that far back :S) in gouache on a white wooden board with watercolour paper stuck on. When I get all my art back soon I'll take a snap of it.
I also did a project on a story which I created an image of a vampire being struck in the jeart with an arrow whilst melting in the sun. As soon as I get them back I'll post them.

Well this is a thread about all things arty, soooo may I ask an arty question?
Ok, I like Naoko Takeuchi's cover designs of her Sailor Moon comic book & I'd like to create some stuff in the same sort of style, but I don't know what sort media she has used for her images. I've looked in a few of my 'How To Draw Manga' books & on various Naoko T. sites, but I'm still a little bit stumped. It looks like watercolors, but I could be wrong.
Here's an example of what I mean:
I'm probably being a bit of an idiot & it's probably pretty clear, but can anyone help?

Probably a combo of markers (like copic markers), ink and watercolor. That's really common among most manga artists...

I was gonna do him with the hand by his mouth, like Slap Your Love's avatar but his fingers just ended up like large pasty sausages.

Here is a character from a weird dream I had once... I painted it last year...
Hmmm, maybe I should get back to drawing... haven't done it in a while... (mostly been sewing/sketching clothing designs...)

It was one of those dreams where I dreamed I was someone else... it was so sci-fi... I was some sort of nanotech-cyborg-thing...
