Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I'm sorry to say, but those lyrics aren't the least memorable.

"a song you can't resist singing along with? (goth or otherwise)"
I usually don't sing along to songs cuz I sound like a dying cow.
But one song I do sing along to is "Gone Away" fromt The Offspring.
It reminds me of my dad.

Hmmmm, probably Regina Spektor's Ghost of Corporate Future. That's a pretty cool song, and Midnight Oil's Golden Years, and Bauhaus' Double Dare, oh and Loreena McKennitt's Lady of Shalott.
Yep.

"All that Jazz" (Chicago) and "Everything I do, I do it for you" (Bryan Adams). Also Siouxsie: "Venus in Furs". That's why I never listen to that song in public. :P Oh, and I almost forgot - "Phantom of the Opera" (In sleep he sang to me etc). That song's so wicked...

I'll sing along any song that i have picked up any decent amount of the lyrics to, which means when i listen to the radio, i end up singing a lot of junk songs. I am completely unable to not sing along to Helmet - Unsung, Demons and Wizards - Touched by the Crimson King, and Black Sabbath - Iron Man, Paranoid, and Hole in the sky.

Twisted Transistor is one of the really few KoRn songs that I can stand.
And Jillian is a great song(So is the person )! I love it!

there's loads but the most recent ones are 'my emo anthems'. there's three of them and though i hate and detest all three bands and have found nothing else by them that even vaguely interests me for soem reason my mind has adopted these songs-and i've started growing an emo fringe. be afraid, be very afraid. i sing them at completely inappropriate and embarressing times. eg. outside a satyricon gig and int he college common room.
they are:
1. fall out boy-suger we're going down
2. panic at the disco-i write sins, not tragedies
3. taking back sunday-make damn sure
on the shame!

I've got some new ones - Kleid aus Rosen and Sag dem Teufel by Subway to Sally. They're stuck in my head....! Also, this really annoying song by a norwegian vocal group (can't remember the name) called "I sing, you sing". Quoting the lyrics - "I can't get the melody/ out of my head!!" - a statement that's so true about this particular song because it's one of those never- ending ones :P
