However because it's the only thing worth watching, the producers have spaced the show with advertisments every three minutes, making it impossible to watch.

Granted, you have a magic carpet. However, it is 5,000 years old, completely falling apart, and nearly impossible to ride upon. When you do manage to stay on the thing, it flies erratically into the side of a mountain at high speeds and blows up. You are now Grilled Magpie.
