Thanks for the sandal suggestions guys! I think I'm just way to picky about sandals. I'm very sad because I just bought these:
http://www.fantasyshoe.com/item.asp?item=fs80
but on Pennangalan's lower lift sole instead of the stiletto. I was hoping they would be my daily summer shoes, but alas, my fat ankles and fat feet make them unwearable. I hate returning things overseas, it sucks. I shall weep silently at the post office while shipping them back to Pennangalan.

They're in a little clickpack like a rectangular compact, sort of turquoisey-greeny-blue coloured.
Oh, hang on, this'd be easier....

I love my boots (grinders) but my all black converse all-stars are still the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

I just wear black vans. But I always drag them through dust and make them worn out. Either that I wear black leather boots that go up to the my ankles.

I just found a site that is having a sale, $100.00 !!! off New Rock boots, making most of them under $150.00, but they don't have the styles I want. If anyone is interested, here you go:

"-"-" I dislike New Rocks, with a passion. Let me count the ways...
1) If I'm going to wear heavy branding then I want them to pay me, not the other way around.
2) I'm tall enough already, why would I want to be any taller?
3) I've lost count of the number of friends who have complained that their New Rocks have fallen apart after only a month or so.
4) If you want to buy a decent pair of boots these days you can't, because all the shops only stock New Rocks.
5) I don't want to look 'fierce'. "-"-"
Reasons I like New Rocks
1. Becuase the cool chains, studs, metal bits, and colors
2. I'm tall and who cares if guys have to look up to meet your eyes? They have enough testosterone in high school that they don't have to worry about not being manly.
3. New Rocks are "fun shoes" that you wear when you want to complete an awsome outfit and find that something as bold as the New Rocks is needed.
4. I've never seen a pair of New Rocks in my life. Know why? I live in god damn L.A. County so I have to look online.
5. Looking fierce is fine by me.

These are the boots I got (sorry it's just a link) but mine are the patent ones. 5 hours of wearing & dancing in them meant my feet took a little while to mould back into their original shape

I found
I found a pair of what are called fire fighter station boots. They are similar to combat boots, but shorter and much stronger.

I just got these awesome boots from a thrift store today. $3.00. They're made out of good leather, still shiny too. I like shiny things. They come up mid calf and tie all the way up. I them a lot. I am not into spending $100.00 on shoes. No thanks.

Got a nice pair of purple Docs from a charity shop for £8. They're resistant to everything under the sun! Acid, Alkali, Petroleum products....
But I like my winklepickers best. Black over-ankle, six buckles each and no quick escape like zips or velcro as NewRocks often have. Pointy toes, and the buckles are shaped like little skull-and-scrossbones!
http://www.underground-england.co.uk...ish_RockB.html
it's the black leather 6 skull buckle boot.

They're cool, I doubt my fat feet could ever fit such delicious looking shoes.
On the subject of flat shoes I borrowed a black patent pair of those dolly shoes that everyones wearing these days, but they hurt my feet so much, it was too painful to walk the next day. *sigh* I guess I'm noting without my heels.

Ooh I'm not a dancer or anything but I'd love a pair of red ballet shoes like the ones Kate Bush's video 'The Red Shoes'.
Ahh they're just so gorgeous! I have a pair of sparkly red ballet pumps, but they just don't compare!

I'm a New Rock fangirl. Had mine since February - silver flame Reactors - and I wore them practically every day through school. Teachers never pestered me about them, they really impressed the younger kids (lmao), and they're uber comfy and warm. Need to send them away to be repaired though, as through constant use my feet have worn through the inner lining at the heel and big toe. >_>
I don't know much about lighter footwear though. I'd like to buy a pair of light gothy shoes I can use for when I've got loads of walking to do, like gothic trainers or something. Anyone suggest anything?

My New Rocks are my firm favourites. Mine have got quite high heels which is ideal for me because I can't wear flat shoes & I'm a titch.
