I don't know. There is an entire board just for whining. You'd think that people would take a hint.
I remember gnet before the whining board. People would often get in trouble for it and say, "Well it has something to do with the subject. There isn't anywhere else to write it."

It happens, the easiest thing to get over it is to get a new friend, but a genuine friend. Then you'll have someone that is close again and if they're really genuine, then you'll know that they're not talking to you out of sheer pity. Also time is something that is good at healing bad memories.
