Same here, but I'm an eighth Italian and half Australian so I celebrate(I don't have a lot of respect for Australians in general no matter how much of their blood I have).

I'm a third English and Irish, so I know the secret story of Guinness.
Back in olde ye Ireland there was a time of distress; so the peasants drank themselves blotto to pass the times of misery. Unfortunatey this meant that the Irish people were getting very little nutritional food, as they were constantly spending their money on whisky and rum. So a crafty old man called Aurthur Guinness decided to make a nutritional alcoholic beverage  . Thus, Guinness came into existance so the peasant could drink to their souls contentand still be merry and healthy.
