And happy_dude the reviews are mostly done by members of the site and not the staff so what is reviewed is usually what the members like...

I have a few friends on there that like doom metal and a lot that like EBM...

Now if you dislike VampireFreaks that is your choice and as I have said your dislike of that site is of no concern of mine but when you insist that all the members are angsty teens and attention whores then I think you should at least check into that before you make such an accusation. I will admit that I've met people on VampireFreaks that do fit into the groups mentioned on here but I have met some really interesting and intelligent people on there also.

I don't tend to give much time to anyone that cannot hold a good debate or argument without harping on about spelling and grammar, as if someone were dyslexic I'd definately tell them to steer clear of this site if people are going to critisise them on spelling instead of intellectual content.

With that said I will leave you to it and seek some intelligent people on this site (I know there are some... there's 3 or 4 people on this thread who answered intelligently to members of VampireFreaks' input).

I didn't say you had to agree with me... in fact I like it when people don't as it's nice that everyone has a unique point of view and can put forward their views in an intelligent manner.

As for becoming a member of this site I would probably have done so anyway if I was introduced to the site properly. I am not here to promote VF at all, I have never directly said anything to defend the site although I personally like it.

Yes the unmodertaed sex cult (of which I am a member) can be slightly disturbing with young teenagers asking about sexual things but they generally recieve 1 of 3 responses usually which are either "you're too young", flaming or some in depth information about what they have asked so they can make an informed decision (it usually depends on what's asked and who's asking it).

I don't need you to like me, as I said before I'm liked and important to all those that truely matter to me... After all this is the internet and the likely-hood that we will ever meet is very remote (not that you would know even if you did).

I found this thread by accident. I joined so I could post. I guess you believe your opinion should be valued above all others, because you spend every waking moment posting on this website instead of contributing to society. I really do not care about your protocol. Yes, I generally do what I damn well please. I know none of the people who have previously posted therefore I do not regard any of them as my friends. I have an opinion, I expressed that opinion. I guess it was worthy of notice, because you replied to it. Just because you do not agree with me does not mean my opinion is any less valid than your own.

The reason why this forum goes through periods like this is because of the inability of the administrators(owners) to get off of their asses and do anything.

I do realize that my previous statement has become quite overused. I can also understand how you get that impression of me. It is not my purpose to avoid trends, but I base my choices solely on what makes me happy (and yes I am a fairly happy person). Let me amend my previous comment. You can put what ever label you want on me, but it will not affect my opinion of myself. I do not attempt to categorize you, and I only ask you to show me the same courtesy. I have a feeling some of you will, but I expect the next response to this will be a scornful one. By the way I would like to thank you, darkangel29, and I do believe I will become involved in this site. I will no longer defend VF, but in closing I will make one last comment: people will abuse any privelage granted, as a rule, you may think I am abusing this thread. Maybe some changes need to be made to VF, but if users act in a responsible manner, the site can be enjoyable, and safe as it stands.

I would also like to say I am glad some people can post an intelligent and reasonable argument (Godslayer Jillian). I do not agree with what you say, but I respect your manner of expressing it.
