Yes, I've also seen the newer 2004 movie, and I hope to someday see the play.

Both the play and the movie are sheer brilliance. Hoping to get started reading the original book and 'Phantom' by Susan Kay (it gives more insight into the life of the Phantom)
Definitely in the top 3 on my list of favourite films, along with Interview With The Vampire and Sleepy Hollow.

I love Sleepy Hollow, haha, the Headless Horseman has been one of my favorite "monsters" (does he qualify for a monster like Frankenstein or the Wolfman would?) since I was little.

Sleepy Hollow was originally a short story by Washington Irving. Tim Burton made it more......interesting
You should see the Extras on the DVD. It's fascinating seeing exactly how they made the horseman headless and how people become....headless.

Tim Burton makes everything interesting, haha. Especially when Johnny Depp is involved. I have the DVD but I haven't looked at the extras yet, because I'm lazy like that, haha.

Barefoot happiness ^_^
The only time my feet see shoes is when I will otherwise not be allowed into an establishment or if there are spinning metal blades threatening to whack off my toes.
