Fine....black lipstick, white foundation, black eyeliner. Smudge & smear all over your face until you resemble a panda. That should get you somewhere.

But...it's so unoriginal. Every 13 year old who insists they're dark & scary does it! A more unique approach to make-up styles could be so much more eye catching.

I'm saying it's a popular choice of the 13 year olds. Not that you're 13.
It's best to move away from that look that many minigoth's harbour. Many people don't take crow make-up seriously.

Agreed. It's impossible to make Crow makeup look at all sensible unless you're in the movie itself. Outside in the real world it only ever looks messy and tacky - as well as very 'mallgoth'.
If you're completely hellbent on slathering your face in black and white facepaint, then by all means go ahead and do it. But expect to be ridiculed for it, and don't complain when you are.

So THAT'S the Crow look?
Simple, unaesthetic vertical lines on the eyes of a mime's face?
I was expecting much more out of all the reputation they give to Brandon Lee.

Don't do it, man. Just... don't do it. D:
And y'know, I'm sure I can see the same marks on those Crow people's faces as I see when I look at the plaster in my bathroom.

Brandon Lee's reputation was derived from his amazing acting performance in the Crow, not the makeup James O'Barr decided to the character of Eric Draven should wear.
Edit: That comment was directed to Jillian. Damn this slow internet!

Speaking of make-up styles, typically I would just go with what suites my intrests instead of having people tell me, but what kind of make-up, (ig colors, types.) would go with a victorian style of clothing?

http://www.fashion-era.com/make_up.htm
That has mostly female makeup I think, but in general the rule of thumb seems to be 'keep it conservative'. Very subtle foundation if you want to go paler, avoid heavy eyeliner and un-natural eyeshadow, and avoid lipstick of any shade much different from your natural colour. It was considered slightly taboo to use makeup then, so the makeup they did use was meant to just slightly alter their appearance. I mean, you could always just do whatever you think looks good, but it won't look authentically Victorian then.

Ah, so true. I think the clothing would wrap it together nicely, I don't think unaccurate make-up would destroy the theme of it all.

Ben Nye makes the best red shadows, imo. I buy all my Ben Nye stuff from here:
http://www.easleys.com/index.asp?Pag...OD&ProdID=7919
Ben Nye also makes something called "Liquiset". It's a clear liquid that you mix with their shadows and apply it wet. It "sets" the shadow and makes it waterproof and smudge proof. I swear by this stuff.

Friends don't let friends go out in public wearing "crow" makeup...unless, perhaps, it's Halloween.

Quick lipstick question. So, I have heard that black lipstick is very tacky, are there any other shades that I could wear and not have it look a bit too odd, I am a male by the way. Any help is appreciated.

With Brandon, it was more like his acting (and the lighting) made the makeup blend with the character (not to mention he actually had the face for it).
With the fans on that site, it was the makeup equivalent of getting a haircut that most definitely does not suit you. Not to mention a lot of those examples were so overdone and greasy-looking... if you're going to put on makeup like that...
...really, forget it. It's just best not to.

It looks good only on people that just have pretty darn good looks..basicly..vincet parez is pretty dang good looking! yeah and it can also be lighting also..so you mess with the lighting of pictures you take..and it also helps if you where it during the night time i bet.
