Hello *meow* :)

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I go to school. I'm in my last year of high school (year 13)

2. Where are you from?
New Zealand

3. Who is your favorite author?
Phillip Pullman, Lewis Carrol, Aristophanes(technically he's a poet though), and many others that I simply can't be fagged thinking of right now.

4. What are your favorite films?
Walk The Line, Chicago, Edward Scissorshands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (tim Burton version of course!), The Hours, Moulin Rouge, Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Red Dragon.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Matrimony strikes fear into mine heart.

6. At your funeral?
My Chemical Romance.....no....Johnny Cash!

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Melodramaticly

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Electric Blue, lined with faux white fur

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I have favourite seperate items of clothing as opposed to a favourite outfit...and that would be my tartan shorts, my purple velvet skirt that I made as my first ever sewing project, my plain black zip hoodie, my jeans and the wicked pvc boob tube I got for NZ$5!!

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
How carefree life was; not having to worry about money, the future, homework etc.

11. What's your favorite band?
I have so much music that I like that I can't really name any one particular band that I like because I tend to like only a few songs by a particular artist. However, Cradle of Filth, HIM, System of a Down, Rammstein and Kittie are my particular favourites, but my music taste is surprisingly diverse.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
As I said above, I'm in my last year of high school, and next year I hope to go to university and do a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Classical Studies. After that? I don't know....

13. Why did you join?
Haha I have hardly any gothy friends so my knowledge of the scene is relatively limited. I live in a small town (10,000 people) so we haven't got any goth clubs (not that I'd be able to go lcubbing if there were any!), but I'm moving to the city next year, and I'd like to be more acquainted with the culture before I get into the clubs and things.
And I like meeting new people and you are all just so interesting and cultured

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Feemale

Another meow at Gnet? Welcome!

As for knowing more about goths, this could be of some help: https://www.gothic.net/boards/showthread.php?t=630

I like Chicago, too. One of my friends is in LOVE with that movie. She's getting the soundtrack to it for her birthday and wants me to get her the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. I've seen the Tim Burton version of Charlie and the Chocolate factory and the new one with Johnny Depp. I've also read the book, have you?

Oooooh, another kiwi. Why are they all popping up all of a sudden just now?
Heh, you won't find any goth bars, unless you live in Hamilton. Last time I checked that's the only place they have that is anything remotely near a goth club. If you live in the Manawatu, however, The Break usually plays some gothicish bands.

I never saw the Tim Burton version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. From what I hear it's much truer to the book than Wily Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (with Gene Wilder) was, but I just love Gene Wilder so until I see the Tim Burton film, I'm incline to love the original one more. Gene Wilder is just so funny! Haha.

Re: Charlie's Chocolate

Buy both dvd's.

The stories are each unique in their own way, and I loved the new ooompa-looompa's.

By the way - I've neglected to say "hi" to you Sparkle, so officially: "hello"

Sorry, this is kind of random, like almost all of my posts, but what is with everyones adiction to kittys lately? It seems the adiction to those names has risen quite a bit lately.

maybe because kitties are thought sexy and kinky kitty is fun to say as they rhyme and both are awsome words to write in cursive and say? making fancy cursive "y"s are fun!
