Mikhailia
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
i might work at Starbucks at Barnes and Nobles... a Teenage dream job for me. I roleplay a lot... I don't really have a life, no friends that I can contact easily... They are busy. I like to surf the internet. I would rather not list stuff though, just talk to me.
2. Where are you from?
I am from Ohio, corn capital of the WORLD
3. Who is your favorite author?
Um... there are too many... I am a Manga fan... but ony very specific ones... not all... and nothing childish... I loved Petshop Of Horrors.... so beautiful... Talk to me and learn more
4. What are your favorite films?
I like a variety... I like some humor, but not most, Most is too immature for me...
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Colour me Blood Red by Malice Mizer... Or something By a Japanese Rock band... My tastes might change music wise by then.
6. At your funeral?
Whatever I play at my Wedding...
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I want to get stranded on a desert Island alone adn have to resort to self-cannibalism so I don't starve to death, instead I will bleed to death... I will eat as much of myself as I can, tieing off lost limbs, then eating more... As punsihment for the people who didn't search for me in time... Chances of that are slim though
8. What kind of casket would you want?
Redwood and glass... redwood frame with an intricate burnt in carving... and glass windows, where there are two panels with like 1/16 inch between then black paint between the two, making a polished ebony look... I have these in my room.. Nowhere windows... I live in the basement...
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Too many to list
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Nothing... I hated my childhood... I am just now remembering parts of it... Bad memort runs in my family. I do remember, just recently, sitting by the wall at recess and people coming up and being like. "Hey you are cute" or "I've heard you are nice.." and I was so gulliable... I would get my hopes up and smile and be happy a short time. Then they would laugh, leave adn talk about me later. I ahted that so bad... I always sat by the wall, in teh corner, wanting to be left alone.
11. What's your favorite band?
A bunch of J-rock stuff...
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I just left 10th grade in june... starting 11th in a few weeks.
13. Why did you join?
I feel I can talk more freely here then I can around where I live... maybe find some people I can relate to... Or share a bit of knowledge I have... even if I haven't much.I want to learn from those more experienced and teach those less so. I figured this is a good place for it.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female

I don't know, there was something missing in your introduction.
Anyway, welcome. I know nothing of manga, but there are some people that may share your same interests.

another who wants the same music at wedding and funeral...
Welcome. Is Mikhailia a manga name?
Years ago i collected Lovely Angels/Dirty Pair, Gunsmith Cats, You're Under Arrest.
I have the first editions, series 1-10 for most of them, worth hundreds by now i'm sure. Tapes and DVDs, posters. I still have most of it. The collection now gets dusty in my closet since i discovered...other things.
i like your answer to number seven and number ten. Do you like to write stories? You have a wealth of experiences from which you can draw upon to write about.
i would be very interested in reading more about your past, and to learn more about auto-cannibalism. Sounds fascinating. Sounds...tasty.

Are you serious?
You liked the answers that resembled nothing but another teen attempt to be mysanthropic?

for detecting and avoiding this kind of thing. Thank you for enlightening me.
But i am interested in the auto-cannibalism. And her past gives me ideas for writing.
Were the manga skeletons in my closet what disgruntled you?

I have no problem with manga. No; it was her hate for a dear childhood she did not appreciate and your apparent condoning of such behavior.

i understand now...
...so in my zeal to hear more about the betrayal, the disillusionment of her alleged childhood, to feed my imagination, i should have kept in mind what was being said and by whom, and that my request for more details would be perceived as condoning or encouraging her...condition.
Thank you for grabbing me by the shoulders and giving me a good shake. Next time, just slap my face. A brisk slap. I think that is what Godslayer Jilliain would *really* like to do anyway.

The sarcasm is neither necessary nor appreciated.

(sigh)
No sarcasm was intended Godslayer. I would have put a smiley face after my slapping remark, but i anticipated that the smiley would not be appreciated either. I genuinely would like you to slap me (i like strong women, the invitation to you to slap me was a compliment), but somehow now i think that is no longer considered appropriate, even though this site gives the appearance of providing a haven for sadistic themes.
I sincerely apologize for the miscommunication. I think now i also misunderstand the context of this site. I shall restrict my future comments to those relating to the gothic stories i write and post, and avoid welcoming those on the Intros board.
You win.

Uhh... dude, I'm a dude.
And don't be so condescendent. If you felt this way every time someone doesn't agree, or even argue with you, you'd break like a twig.

Jillian, no offence, but at first I also thought you were female (pssst, its probably becuase of your avatar).
As to her unhappiness and lack of appreciation for her childhood does not dircetly mean its a "teen attempt to be mysanthropic".
And as far as I know, you are a teenager yourself, which makes such remarks sound strange coming from you.
Childhoods can be unpleasant for many reasons...for example one can have really nasty parents, you know...there aren't only such loving parents that take you for trips around europe or whatever...some parents can really give one a hard time. And that isn't only teenage moaning. Some people just can't live in peace together when neither cares about the other and neither wants to understand the other.
Or, in the case mentioned above, one is a very inconfident and shy child...and other children are cruel to such kids. This is enough to ruin a childhood.
So if you've had a nice childhood I am happy for you but please open you mind enough to understand that others may not be so fortunate.
And now you will just call me an ungratefull tennager and leave it at that...well, go ahead.

Heh, the ironic thing is that my avatar is also a guy.
And about the teen mysanthropia, if you read her intro, you can see that she didn't like her childhood because people called her cute and "she wanted to be left alone".
That's as far as she has given us to understand. People talking behind someone's back is something everyone falls victim to at one time or another. I find it dull to have hated such a grand fraction of your life because of this sole reason.

Hmmmm...a guy? Heh, I've never been good with coming to terms with this new fashion of guys trying to look feminine. This is not the first time I get myself into such a story.
I believe you misunderstood what she wrote. I do not think that was the sole reason for her ruined childhood that people talked behind her back. I believe they more misused her trust and that can be very painfull. She wrote it with in rather broken up sentances and I think that through this one can see there was more to it.
And really, if she sais her childhood was a nightmare, than it probably really was. As I said above, keep in mind that not all are so fortunate as you.
It is silly to classify people you "like" and "don't like" by whether they liked their childhood or not.

Nah, I actually like Mikhalia, just not what I got of this question. Oh, also, I divide people in not liked or not liked, or good and bad; as always, I find Oscar Wilde's classification better:
"People are either dull, or interesting."

To this I can only agree. Oscar Wilde is the god.

I'm sorry, that was a grammatical error.
I meant I divide people not in liked or not liked.

Sorry to be an asshole about this, but it's misanthropy, not mysanthropia. It's not inconfident, it's unconfident.
Way to go guys, make up words.
On another note, a ruined childhood because the other kids were mean? Cry me a fucking river.

Heh, yeh, you were an asshole, but everyone is at some point. Now, if it was a regular thing, then yes, it'd be a bad thing.
Though, technically, mysanthropia is a word, just not in English.

I don't understand howcome you can't get that a childhood for a shy and UNconfident (happy?) child may be difficult.
I am not talking about myself, but I do not consider it emo to admit that one was an unhappy child. As long as one doesn't whine about it...which I believe wasn't the case.
