Here's a little sketch of me in mine own DiY clothing... as a racooon. Yes, I'm weird that way, but that's why you fell in love with me, right?

Backstage at my favorite haunt: the Showcase Theatre in Southern California. I go there every weekend, went last night and snapped it. I didn't go tonight, because we had a family gathering, but I'm going tomorrow for sure.

You have to target the appropriate audience: did you submit them to your local community newspaper? Then I am not surprised the publishers were not interested. Gothic Beauty magazine might be more receptive.

Oh, dear, I'd never send them to my newspaper, or else my work would end up like Marquis De Sade. I've sent them to the following places:
Gothic Beauty
Morbid Outlook
From the Dust Zine
Mars Dust
Meltdown
Newgrave
either with a rejection or never responding. I don't normally think about the audience when I'm drawing, but if anything, I'd apperciate that goths like it because it's going to right people; who understand it.
This has acutally given me an idea! Ok, for those who can help me out, do you know any underground goth magazines besides the ones I've listed that accept artwork? If so, I'd love your suggestions.
