Hi all, my name is Maya Drathir, i am a 16 year old pagan white witch (used to be black magicks but it almost ended in suicide so im kinda layin off it for a while) from devon (tavistock) and i write poetry on myspace. I read a lot of fantasy books, mainly Wheel of Time (i bet no ones heard of it). Thats the basic outline of me....

humble apologies. I start again
I am a 6th form student at Tavistock college, where i also teach french to younger years. I am from Cambridge originally, but lived in france for 5 years.
My favourite author is definitely Robert Jordan, with his Wheel of Time series. Favourite films are definately horror films, anything where people get ripped to shreds or blown up. I dont intend on being married so i wont have any music for it, though at my funeral id say right now Away by nightwish (who totally slay and rule)
I want to die by my own hand, not by natures, either through a spell backfiring or through sacrificial suicide. I dont know about my casket though....My favourite outfit is anything in black, especially underwear. I miss being fearless when i was small.
My favourite band is nightwish, though anything of that genre rules for me.
I joined this site because i would like to meet other people who have the same or similar interests (ie reading, singing, writing poetry and magicks)

Is that a better way to post? ( i apologize my english reading and writing is bad)

she was my best friend. she was THIRTEEN.

I can't say that I don't like you because I don't actually know you. However, I must agree that you come across as being very immature with the whole " white witch.. used to be into black magic" thing ect...

If you knew anything about witchcraft/wicca, then you would know that magic itself is neither black nor white. It is only the intention of the one doing the spell that has any effect over it's energy and purpose. I know you are 16, but any 16 year old with even a shred of integrity would have the sense not to go dabbling in what they don't understand and clearly haven't studied enough.

If you are truly interested in witchcraft/wicca, and are prepared to do proper research and work, then may I suggest reading books written by Kate West, Marian Green, Scott Cunningham and Doreen Valiente? Whilst I am not yet a witch of any description, I am reading all of the above mentioned books myself, and I'm finding them very informative and Helpful in studying the craft. I suggest you do the same.

Also, why on earth would you wish to die by your own hand? As someone who calls themself pagan, I find it hard to understand why you would think that nature isn't good enough for you. I very much doubt that suicide would make your death any less easy. It also isn't something to be considered as " cool" , and certainly not something to spoken of so flippantly. as you may have noticed, there are people here who have experienced the aftermath of suicide.

On a good note, I do like the fact that you are interested in fantasy literature, I am too. James Clemens, Tolkien and Katherine Kerr are among my favourites. And yes, I have heard of the Wheel of time series, I just haven't got round to reading it yet.

korinna, forgive me if I am being too nosy (just tell me to mind my own business if it is too personal), but since she was your best friend, did you pick up any tell tale signs that she was going to do it? I mean, was there any noticable difference in her behavior right before it happened? Any change in her personality? And I am sorry you lost your friend.
