... see, this is why I like forums with PMing ability. People can snarl, bicker, argue with and rant at each other outside the threads.
But it's becoming entertaining, do continue.
I shall fetch popcorn for anyone else who wants to watch the fight.

That's a close up of my make up.

http://img164.imageshack.us/img164/2...eddressed9.jpg
And this is the whole dress.

The dress was my aunt's from a wedding she was in as a bride's maid in like 1980 something or another. It's a really pretty dress. And so very retro, I love it. And everyone said I looked oh so pretty. I took those pics a week before Halloween. I just dressed up for school. I wore some nice black heels and had my bangs side swept and I looked very pretty.

I should have taken some pics of the ridiculous outfit I had to wear for the Halloween parade I was in. A Hawaiian shirt and jeans. I looked pretty dumb.

I was going to be Edward Scissorhands this year (even though my mom didn't much like the idea of me dressing as a guy, especially just after chopping my hair off), but to make a long story short, I ended up just sitting at home with what the doctor called "the mother of all bruises" on my arm. Note to self: Next time you're pissed, go out into the middle of an open area where you can't possible hit the door jamb on accident.

Yeah, it wasn't the best Halloween ever. But hey, my arm wasn't broken like we all thought, so that's one good thing. And now, it just kind of looks like I smudged charcoal on my forearm... Oh well though. Life happens and you move on, right?

At least it's not something lingering and nasty... like an in-growing toenail! Those are really unpleasant. Bruises are nice in comparison.
That's my attempt at sympathy/comfort, I'm not terribly good at these things.

Haha, it's all good Delkaetre. I don't mind bruises much, I get into freak accidents alot so as long as I'm functional, I really don't care too much. But when it gets in the way of Halloween... then it's personal. Hm, sounds like a synopsis of some sort of cheap video game.

heh, indeed...
I don't remember a lot of this year's halloween... I recall two Ukrainians, three whiskeys, an Irish Cream, a sip of pepper vodka, and about a third to half of a bottle of Sambuca.
I don't recall anything between about midnight and half one in the morning.

Wow. I remember the bruise obviously, and trick-or-treating at my own house (we buy candy every year, and only get like, 5 kids coming by, so I got to take the rest), and being glad that I wouldn't have to go work in kindergarten the next day because I wouldn't have to deal with a class of hyper-and-athen0crashing 5 year olds (the day after Halloween was off for the elementary school for some reason), and yeah. Wednesday was the best, I got to sleep in. Now I know what my mom feels like, being a teacher.

I detest Children of all kinds, so I don't envy you.
I prefer to deal with rational humans with a grasp of the written word and a functioning logic centre.

Haha, some of them have a slight grasp of the written word. Some of them barely have a grasp of the spoken word. I find it interesting how the kids who don't speak English are sometimes the only ones who seem to be listening to me. Which is sort of sad, becuase they don't understand all I'm saying anyways, and since the bilingual kids don't listen much, it's hard to translate. They're cute though... Although I am glad to leave that classroom at 11:00.

oh how I agree. Especially when they are all running down the corridor....I feel like jumping onto a chair and screaming "get it away from me!!!!"

I believe a human starts being a consious human around...12-13. Before they are just pieces of meat. And they scare me.

Yeah, gee, why don't you request the PMing capability back from the Admins. They are Uber-helpful upright citizens who take pride in the care and management of their forums and are capable of handling even the smallest request with ease and grace. They also provide clear and straight answers when asked. And are totally accountable for their actions.

And they do windows.
.
.
.
That was rather more bitchy than called for. Hells, I was expressing my dislike at not having the ability to PM or get the admins to do anything. I've posted my distaste for irresponsible mods and admins more than once on the forums here. Maybe you meant it as a rant agreeing with me, maybe you meant it as bitchiness. It's come across as needless unpleasantness.

I've read all of the posts prior to that. I was expressing a single opinion, which was of no detriment to you- simply expressing a desire for a forum that functioned the way that most forums do. I made a single post, which was not insulting to you. That you're snarling at me seemed rather untoward.
Perhaps you could explain all the rest of the situation so I am illuminated as to your no doubt horrendous and miserable situation?

We try to cover more than that. Sure there's a lot of silliness, fashion and that, but you get that everywhere.
Have you read the 'Christianity' thread? A lot of interesting stuff there, if you're theologically minded.

Ha. I also detest children. I'm one of the few I know at my school that do not want children ever.

it's odd, isn't it? Goths tend to be- and research says so- more intelligent, less violent, and more beneficial to the species as a whole. Yet we're less inclined to breed. Damn it, stupidity is outbreeding intelligence!

Sometimes I approve of things becoming mainstream. The recent popularity of FairTrade items, for example, or the new eco-consumerism that's starting to spread.
