Bonjours
or maybe "bonsoir" would be a better choice of word, but I highly doubt anyone care about it so I'll just introduce myself.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job) Studying. Mostly. But now that the semester is near its end, I'll probably soon have time to read, write, draw, paint, play music(I'm pretty much in every form of art or nearly so), play RPG and some other things.
2. Where are you from? Province of Quebec. City of Quebec
3. Who is your favorite author? Oh! Good question. I would probably say J.R.R. Tolkien
4. What are your favorite films? Nightmare before Christmas and Corpse bride
5. What music do you want played at your wedding? I don't intend to have one.
6. At your funeral? I never gave it much thoughts. I'll be dead after all.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? As painlessly and quickly as possible. And not by being hit by a car( I escaped that 10 times in the past 3 years)
8. What kind of casket would you want? Something cheap. I don't want my family to get ruined for my dead body.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit? I don't know. Every outfit I have can be my favorite one day.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid? The capacity to find everything fun.
11. What's your favorite band? Dir en grey
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major? If there is anyone who knows about the education system in Quebec, I'm in my second year of cegep. In information and library technology(or so I've been told it is said in English)
13. Why did you join? I found this by accident, took a look around and decided to join.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm a girl
That's pretty much it. If you have any question just ask(except why my nickname is Kassindrya. That would be my kind of question, but it is a far too long story) And I know some of my sentences(if not in this message, maybe in another) might sound strange. I sometime translate too literally from French

Hein?! Where did you hear that!? That's totally false. There have been some "souverainistes"(people who want the Quebec to be independant) ever since the sixties, but we never became independant.

hum... don't take it as something insulting, but your sentence should be more like: "Pyre mange du fromage et des pommes de terre tout le temps". I just don't like to see my dear French broken. But it is sure that anyone who love cheese and potatoes is doomed to fall in love with poutine

Oh, I am not insulted, thanks for the correction, and my sincere apologies for scratching your eyes with my pathetic French.
I heard about the independence thing on National Public Radio (various FM frequencies depending on location). Some Quebec politician said something like "Quebec is practically a separate nation" or something like that.

HumanePain, it was probably someone from the Bloc québécois. They are the ones trying to make the Quebec become independant. It is true however that we are slightly different from the other Canadians.
Slap your love, those days, I'm mostly playing AD&D, Seventh sea and JRTM(Jeu de Rôle des Terres du Milieu), but basicly anything I could find someone to teach me the rules and play with me is fine

I never said I like les pommes de terres  I actually dislike most forms of potato. But, if it's cooked a certain way and with cheese, it is generally fine.
I should look into this "poutine" you guys speak of.

Well, it's french fries and not real potatoes, but the recipe is easy: French fries, pieces of cheese and hot chicken sauce. That's not exactly the real thing(there is special poutine sauce) but it could do

I just Wiki'd it, and it says brown gravy >_> Interesting. . . I will keep looking into this "poutine" dish.
