I didn't think Sonic X was anime. Maybe it is. Meh....

Yu yu hakasho, sailor moon, full metal alchemist, and ghost in the shell.

I've only seen hellsing and Inuyasha a few times, so I can't say much about them.

For me Evangelion is the best anime I've ever seen. Partly because it's the only one I've seen the whole way through. Another favourite of mine is Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040.

I don't see what everyone dislikes about Inuyasha. I've seen quite a few episodes. It seems good to me. Only Adult Swim changed it.

Oh... and if anyone has ever played the Chrono games, there is an anime following some part of them I assume. It's called Chrono Crusade. If anyone has seen it, I'd like some feedback. I don't want to waste money on a box set.

Actually, I'm a fan of both Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross (therefore I recognize you avi), but I didn't know about the series. I'd suggest that you (and I'm going to try to) find them on YouTube of Video Google, or something like that. At the very least, you may see enough to want to see more.

I just watched a couple trailers for it. It seems rather... cheesy. From the trailers, it seems more like the average vampire-hunting thing rather than anything special.

Agreed, American dubbs ruin everythings.
Is Chobits accurate to the manga?

I just watched the first half of the third episode like you suggested. It seems alright. I haven't actually seen any of those cheesy vampire-hunting movies anyway. Although I think this is more to do with demons and what-not. Should be okay.

"Elfen Lied" is the single best serie I've ever seen. Followed by "Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien".

I love the Elfen Lied into.. It's just so pretty.

"Serial Experiments: Lain" is also rather good, or well, I kind of enjoyed it for some reason or another.

And as always, do NOT watch the english dubbs, they are absolutely horrific and ruin the whole experience.
Also, you learn some japanese if you leave the original sound on, which is always good xD.

That's true. I've learned a fair amount of Japanese words just from watching the originals.

Fruits basket, Naruto and Loveless. I watch the anime but I'm more of a manga fan.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Sorry. I am a definite otaku. There's too many anime I like to list them all. Thank God you didn't ask about manga...the list would drag on for years...

I will only say that I despise InuYasha and DragonBallZ and Yu Gi Oh and Pokemon (the games are ADORABLE though. Show is just lame). I hate All that corny main stream crap with no depth or meaning to them.

I like Kenshin (anime known as: Samurai X)
Naruto
Death Note
Pretty Much all the Miyazaki movies
Another movie: Grave of the fireflies(very sad)

Many Many. Of course I watch all my anime but Naruto in Japanese w/subs online. Retains much more meaning. Unless it's the ones I despise which had no meaning to start with.

My ranting is over.

InuYasha irritates me, but the boyfriend loves it.

We just got a 4 episode DVD of Argentosoma called Our Memories, which we enjoyed, at Half Price Books and I was wondering if it would be worth finding the rest of the episodes?

I love animes but haven’t watched any in while because I don’t have the time lately.

I love anything written by Rumiko Takahashi. Her stuff is off the wall, perverted, funny and romantic like Ranma 1/2 , urusei yatsura and Mansion ikkoku. I also enjoyed the Ghost In Shell series.

I'm not much of an anime fan, but I absolutly love Dragon Ball Z. It's just so badass awesome. I'm trying to find out when/if they still show it on TV because it's been too long since I've seen the old stuff.
