Skittle kittens fly, sometimes.
Yay! Hello, it must be my time to fiddle around and completely ignore art projects! Neat.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I use to work in a bakery; however, I am currently studying abroad. Job requirements are somewhat strict in Spain, but I’m looking.
2. Where are you from? I’m from the southern USA. It feels a little odd to type that, because my consistent answer where I’m at now is “that state over Florida.”
3. Who is your favorite author? I like Robert McCamon, Poe, Laurel K. Hamilton, but mostly I end up reading short story volumes. I find it’s a good way to be exposed to a variety of authors.
4. What are your favorite films? I really like Big Trouble in Little China, Arsenic and Old Lace, the Evil Dead movies and Spirited Away.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding? I think we are gunning for Specimen’s ‘Lovers of the Dead.’ It’s a song that’s short and sweet.
6. At your funeral? Well, really I just planned on having Buddhists monks chanting or some such thing. If not that, some jazz would be nice.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? Hmm, well I would prefer to go down fighting, whatever it is. (You know, zombie, space alien, home invasion, crazed religious relative.)
8. What kind of casket would you want? I’d want one that has a lid that pops open with some sort of horrible laughter and sends my corpse flying across the room. It seems fitting to scar the little buggers when they are in the throes of mourning.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit? I really like this plum Qisao Chinese dress I have. The only problem is, the zipper broke off so I need to replace it.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid? Eh, spastic fits of kool-aid induced madness? Ah well. Feed them sugar and watch the kiddies go!
11. What's your favorite band? Currently the Bolshoi.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I am in my final years of college. I have a duel art and Spanish major. (Minors in languages just aren’t worth anything.)
13. Why did you join? Eh, really, I’d like to connect with similar people in my area. Few people like to go watch horror films.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender? Female.
Yep… In any case, eat some pie. Here is a knife. Carve into it and enjoy. Happy hellos to one and all.

Welcome to the board. BTW I hope you are making the most of your time in Spain. You are not really missing much in the south. Trust me. BTW there are several folks here who are mechanically inclined enough to make the launching coffin a reality. I would recommend a dual hydraulic, pneumatic setup. We should focus more on distance for a gleeful dramatic effect. : )

Welcome ^^ By “that state over Florida” did you mean Georgia? If so, it seems our Georgia residents are growing rapidly.
You seem like a fresh addition to Gnet. Enjoy your stay.

Welcome! Do I detect a candidate for deathrock QUEEN? I think you'll do VERY well here. Anyway, do me a favor and vote on "the Greatest DeathRock Group" poll in the music section.

I agree about badteccy. But I like asta_tintora's idea of a coffin catapult.
A coff-a-pult? Cataffin?
And if I may put forward an engineering suggestion for the damn thing, it will be easier to design and manufacture it if it only has to catapult the skull instead of the entire corpse.
Welcome asta_tintora!

Thanks for the warm welcome. Heh, deathrock queen? I doubt I ever could know enough about music to ever hold anything. I'll save that for the fiancee and love the Johnny Slut picture.
