'Ello.

Finally got the email problem sorted out? What a relief, I was growing a tad restless being unable to register. Anyway, allow me be one of the many new members of the impending flood to post an into thread. Ahahah.

Onto the mandatory Q's and A's.

1. What do I do? (Hobbies, job)
Hm, what do I do... I'm a bit of a computer addict, so a lot of my time is spent at forums or other Internet sites. I suppose I'm a gamer too, though my interest has been waning, as most of the stuff that's being cranked out is the same rehashed, generic thing I've seen a million times. I love writing, and forum roleplaying is something of a hobby, though I've stopped for a while since I can't find the right place to settle down. I also like tinkering with game making every now and then.

2. Where are you from?
Southern California. Though I don't live there now (which is probably something to be thankful for).

3. Who is your favorite author?
No absolute favorite. Douglas Adams, Anne Rice, Dave Barry and Edgar Allen Poe spring to mind. I just like many books from various authors.

4. What are your favorite films?
The Nightmare Before Christmas is my absolute favorite. The artistry, music, and characters amaze me to no end. I like other Burton films as well, like Beetlejuice, Batman Returns, and Edward Scissorhands. I also like The Prestige, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Alice in Wonderland, the Austin Powers series... lots of things, really. I won't take up the page.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Wedding? Haven't really thought of it. I don't feel like thinking of it now, either.

6. At your funeral?
I always thought it'd be funny to just play this loud, ear-piercing screechy noise throughout the service. You know, as a way to get a sort of last laughs at the world. Of course I couldn't witness it... probably...

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
With a bang.

8. What kind of casket would you want?

Ooh. A ratty-looking little wooden coffin, in that elongated hexagonal shape, but sort of lopsided. Asymmetrical. And there'd be a big skull and crossbones on top, sort of warped looking (maybe even cartoony). Oh yes, and chains around it, many chains.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Black trench coat, plain tee and fishnet underneath, safety-pinned armwarmers... black jeans, and strappy boots. I lack only a good hat to complete the ensemble. Perhaps a fedora or a witch hat.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?

Lack of responsibilities, and being unaware of much of the world around me. Maybe having my thoughts and emotions in order.

11. What's your favorite band?
London After Midnight. Closely followed by Switchblade Symphony, The Cruxshadows, and Bauhaus.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm in high school now. And I plan to er, *cough*... get some kind of major. Yes.

13. Why did you join?
Google searching for random oddments had lead me here a number of times. First saw this place nearly a year ago, but I finally decided to join now because I need more people to talk to that share similar interests and outlooks as myself.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?

Male. It’s almost funny how many times that’s been mistaken online. Or even IRL, though a lot of that's just sarcasm. Grumble.

Anyway, I’ll see you around the forums ^^

Welcome to the sites.
Throughout your post I was often confused as to what to think of you, and I felt almost the need to fast forward to your music to reserve hope.
It was a little scary, as some things seemed utterly cliché, but you managed to pull through alright.
Hmm. . . mistaken for a girl in person? Sarcasm or not, this intringues me. Pics. Pronto!
Welcome to Gnet.

Welcome. ^^
I'm curious; does your name derive from the book/movie A Clockwork Orange?

No, my name didn't come from either of those; I just like the way it sounds.

Thanks for the welcomes. I may post some pictures or writing, if I decide I have anything worthwhile.
