Welcome to the boards. We are indeed quite finicky about spelling and grammar, but we cannot blame someone for some errors, especially if English is a second language. But there are things that show when someone's trying and when he's not. For example you can begin capitalizing.

I swear, this is NOT to nitpick, but since you said you're going to try and I know English isn't your first language, I thought I'd mention that "I" is a proper noun and needs capitalization.

Hello Cele, nice to meet you.

If you could please, can you answer the questions here: https://www.gothic.net/boards/showthread.php?t=1644

It helps us to get to know you better.

Also, are you a fan of.........DIE TOTEN HOSEN?????????

If so, welcome. If not, you're one of the first Germans I have met that dislike them.

Oh come on, how can you not like them with their crazy suicidal "zehn kline jaigermeisters" and their songs about how much the south german soccor team sucks?

Die Toten Hosen FTW, Corpsey.
Who doesn't love punk, let alone in german.

And Rammastein is WAY worse than people give them credit for.

The only german punk bands I know are electropunk, barring Die Toten Hosen. =O

I'm listening to them right now, and they're really good >)
I love old hardcore punk. And I love german.

This revelation makes me happy.

Of course, I'bve only listened to Horrorshow, but I'm off to listen to more. :P

Ha ha...ok...you should check them out.

As for old hardcore punk, i love it! The way it used to be was great... now its become so emo, its sick. All the kids that go to the shows are straight edge. they've even gone so far as arranging straight edge shows, where they dont sell booze and you're not even allowed to smoke.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I am a student (12th grade) and i love arts of all kind. I do drawing, music and writing and for all who are interested:
www.krea-tief.de.vu
it's in English anyway.

2. Where are you from?
I am from the very south of Germany, a town called Freiburg and it's on the border to Swiss and France.

3. Who is your favorite author?
Ouh hard one.
I love reading so i'll simply give you my fav books:
01. Dreamers of Decadence- Symbolic Painters of the 19th Century - Phillippe Jullian
02. Sherlock Holmes - Eine Studie in Scharlachrot - Sir Arthur Cpnan Doyle
03. Röde Orm - Frans G. Brengtsson
04. Lexikon der germanischen Mythologie - Rudolf Simek Kröner
05. Dornröschen - Die Gebrüder Grimm
06. Die kleine Meerjungfrau - Hans Christian Andersen
07. Robotermärchen - Stanislaw Lem
08. Zeit der Reife - Sartre
09. Sternentagebücher - Stanislaw Lem
10. Herr der Ringe - J.R.R. Tolkien

and i just realise there don't appear Anne Rice, whose books vary between stupidity and very good and Michael Marrak whose probably less well known overseas but he does great syrrealistic horror writing with elements of philosophy, technique oriented scifi and porn. g

4. What are your favorite films?

01. Apocalypse Now - Francis Ford Coppola
02. Sleepy Hollow - Tim Burton
03. Matrix I - Andy Wachowski & Larry Wachowski
04. The fearless Vampire Hunters- Excuse me your teeth
are in my neck - Roman Polanski
05. Nightmare before Christmas - Tim Burton
06. Fight Club - David Fincher
07. MacBath - Roman Polanski
08. The Cube - Vincenzo Natali
09. Pirates of the Carribbean - The Curse of the Black Perl - Gore Verbinski
10. V for Vendetta - Andy Wachowsky & Larry Wachowsky
11. A Clockwork Orange - Stanley Kubrick

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I am not planning to wed but if so...
Hard task again.
Probably some Neofolk...
Maybe Bavaria by Ostara or To You by Nature and Discipline

6. At your funeral?
Easier
Either some Spiritual Front or Death in June
Maybe Operation Valkrie by Ostara, Runes and Men by DI6, No kisses on the Mouth by SF
Or some Wagner

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? As far as possible painless, otherwise before i am so old i can not go to the toilette on my own

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Oah must admit i don't care. Something simple and slightly old fashioned would be nice and some oldfashioned filligrane cross
Though if i get to be famous and/or rich i'd probably be vain enough to do some viking style flame and ocean burial... Just for the coolnes and "poserdom"

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Either slightly militant with tie, shirt, corset, tight trousers and boots all black and some rune on my sleeve or something slightly batcave like with torn shirt and so on.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Probably nothing as i used to get mobbed and hit by other kids and my teachers used to support the in quite wicked ways.

11. What's your favorite band?
Another hard task:
01. Spiritual Front
02. Ostara
03. Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio
04. Agitated Radio Pilot
05. Depeche Mode
06. Darkwood
07. Nine Inch Nails
08. HIM
09. Blood Axis
10. Blutharsch

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I hope i can get my Abitur and then go to study law...

13. Why did you join?
It looked like some kind of more intelligent goth forum and i started to be afraid there were no such

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I am female though i guess i pretty much spoiled the surprise

Now for the Toten Hosen: Nope don't like them and i would callit more of rock or probably punk rock... But that's it...

If it comes to punk i am neither very proven nor do i like it all too much if it isn't for it's being the roots of my more beloved music.
I still like Billy Idol, and some other 70s bands.
Todays punk i rather dislike...

Sadly i don't know Durango 95

Much modern punk is quite bad, I agree.

Check out the band Generation-X, if you like Idol. It was his band before he went solo.

Oh and when I said "listening to them" I meant Durango, not Dead Pants. (Lol.
The name sound stupid in english. :P)

Ha ha ha...

you guys are very right. Modern punk has lost alot of what punk used to be...its not fun anymore. And people who play it, arent having too much fun.
By the way: Billy Idol is soooooooooooooo HOT!

"Herr der Ringe"
Is that Lord of the Rings in German?
I noticed that almost all of your books are Germanized, but all the movies are in English. . . That humours me.
