Schwartzkopf has (had?) a "true" black dye in their productline. Can't remember the name of it though, but it didn't gave that weird blueish sheen.

I was looking in the mirror this morning, and decided I wanted to try out a new hairstyle. Usually, when I get up in the morning, I run a brush through my hair, and just leave it like that. I want to try something new, do you have any suggestions?

Depends on the length of your hair and your bone structure.

No.

We don't know what you look like, how long your hair is, or your hair color.

That's the only pic I have of me on the comp. It's an old picture, though.

Your creativity is the limit when it comes to hair, who cares as long as you like it, for example I could braid my hair with these wires i tore out of a broken fluro light and call it a "cyber" hairstyle...now many people would probably tell me it looked crap but hey if I like it...

with hair just go wild! Plus you've got a friendly face so I don't think anyone could think the worse of you.

We can't all be sex gods like Kontan and GS Jillian -_-;

Allright folks, I have long hair that is curly, reaches down all the way to my lower back. It is going to get cut, so I want to go in and get it styled. I am used to waking up in the morning briefly brushing it and leaving the house. NOW that I am leaving home and graduating from high school I want to do something a bit more goth, I did dye my hair a DARK red that didn't turn out so well, so any suggestions on at home hair dyes that would look there and not there would be great.

My hair also is layered to bring out my curls. I don't want this new do to be a hassle in the morning, I would prefer a quicky hair do, but then I can sacrifice some sleep for the hair right??? Any ways, I desperatly want to do a different color and a different style of hair. I won't dye my hair black because most people say I have black hair, espicially in the winter, it's actually just a really deep brown color.

Any and all suggestions would be wonderful for a new style and color!

So, although I know far too much about hair styling, I'm clueless as to what would suit me. It's about time I did something about me (the last time I got a trim was sept) and my hair brushes the tops of my shoulders (although it's razored so the length varies)

I just dyed my hair again. It's black. Last time it was dyed "natural black" but turned out more of a very dark brown. I used to dye it red all the time, but that got old.

Pic in my siggy is the new color
. It doesn't do it justice, though as my hair is very long (almost waist length). It's hard for me to get a good pic that shows the length.

My GOD gurrrl you're beautiful!

You've a face like Lily Cole's. So I think you should perhaps take inspiration from her. I think this would suit you very well. Or perhaps this :P

I'm going purple soon! Hopefully, I miss my purple hair. I dyed it reddish a couple months ago, and it turned out awful. My hair didn't take the dye, it smelled like chemicals for almost a week, and I have a brown red stripe that goes around my head where my roots were.

I might post pictures, I'm getting over my pictures-on-the-internet thing slightly. I guess if anyone wanted to kidnap me and murder me in a most gruesome way, they could do it from all the pics of me on MySpace.

Hmm, I might do blue on one side and keep the other my natural color (black) but that'll have to wait until after July since I'm gonna grow it out and give myself some v-bangs. For now I'm just getting myself some v-bangs and letting the hair grow.

*does the patented swoopy one more post until level change two step dance*

Not an option, I live in a very cold state, minnesota actually, and I prefer my hair long. That and my parents (lathough jokingly) always tell me to "shave it all of and go bald." so for right know I am going to try and find something to do with this hair that will keep it long. My hair has been short for too many times, and I don't like looking like I am a permanent poodle growing out of my head! I really look horrible with the poodle do!!

Hey I live in Minnesota too! Who woulda thunk it? Anywho, I am growing out my hair for a mohawk, I'm at the Travis Bickle stage of a mohawk now, so it'll take a while. Then I will dye it neon green.

That's cool! any whoo, I want to do something with my hair that has a Gothic renaissance feel, I have found some basics that I can do on my own but they really aren't a "style," there more of a easy do.

An undercut.

Shave everything but the top :B

Lift your hair up, or stand on your head, and shave in an upward motion.
Use a comb as a straight-edge.

Or go to a hair salon :P
