My problems started when I was eleven. It's not fair to have to worry about watching your weight when you're eleven!

Yeah, I got my period before I was 10.
I gained soooo much weight all of a sudden and I had all these cravings.
I know how you feel.
by grade 6 I already started dieting. I still am to this day. I don't see it ever ending.

It's worse this year for me because I wound up joining weight watchers. Last year, I did a diet program online and lost the desired 12 lbs. But one slip-up seems to suffice for me (Or is it many slip-ups hitting me at once?).

That's an annual thing for me. And I'm never the one who notices; it's always my mother who asks me if I want to diet. She always says that she's doing it for herself, but I know her ulterior motives.

lol. My mom always points it out too.
It's either "You lost so much weight! Are you doing drugs!? Are you anorexic!?"
Or "What are you eating? Don't eat that. You're getting fat. Go get a vegetable."

And now the people in the Weight Watchers say, "If you want to snack, go eat a small portion of junk food. It amounts to as many calories as healthy food." So all of the nutrition jargon I've been taught has been of no help?!

Thanks, mom and nursery school!

*off topic*

All this ranting is giving me a headache!

*on topic*

I'm trying to lose weight now, and this time around seems to be the toughest. The goal was 17 lbs. I've already been dieting for about a month or two, and I've lost about 7 pounds, but now I don't seem to be losing anymore. I lost eight, but gained back the eighth pound, and it doesn't want to come off. And this time I've changed my habits the most. I joined a gym to try to expedite the weight loss, and have only started to go. Maybe when I go to camp and swim, the weight will pour off.

It doesn't help that I skipped my period in May

*Sorry if this sounds awkward*.

I have that problem too. I can loose a certain amount of weight, then I'll just stop. Could be your body. I mean, as a women, you body produces a certain amount of fat for reproductive purposes. Your body is probably rejecting the weight loss...

Probably. I'm still considered to be overweight, though. It could be water retention, too. But I've never thought that my body could be rejecting the weight loss...Now to become a calorie-burning machine.

Not true. Every tiny bit of muscle (I suppose that's what you meant) are the leaves of hard labor!

Like most guys are physical anyway; but they do not have to do much to gain it.

I am a guy. Believe me, we have to work for muscle. OK, perhaps we get it easier than girls - but we get fat easily too!

Well, you're still young you know.
It's when a guy is growing he develops muscle easily. Men have bigger muscles then women no matter what they do. Even fat guys are strong.
It's also been proven that guys don't produce fat as easily as girls do. Girls develop fat, they just do. It's not a bad thing, you develop it so you can carry a baby. Very skinny women are at risk when they're pregnant, as well as their baby.
I'm sure guys have to work hard to gain muscle too... =P I'm not saying you're all lazy!

Perhaps, but you only talk about what you know. And I don't know how hard it is for guys compared to girls, however, I can make this fairly general statement summarizing this section of the Rant Thread-

Weight loss is a bitch!

Just a little warning I will not followthrough on anything I am very bad at following through on threats, if I was I would already be dead. I don't think I could handle feeling a person's skin going cold due to my actions, nor do I ever want to deal with the asteroid's worth of guilt being added to my already quite large mountain of neurotic guilt.

This threat is intended towards the incubus that seduces my gf.

As soon as I make her realize what you've done to her and are doing behind her back if you ever dare step foot within visible distance of either her or myself I am going to go up to you wrestle you to the ground then first off stick my hands in your mouth and rip your lips apart and rip out your cheeks leaving your jaw hanging cold and naked. I'm going to break your upper jaw with a tire iron so when your lower jaw tries to close your mouth it will be like a boy on cruches that had one ripped out from under him. Then I am going to cut your fingers in half leaving you with little stubs. I am going to shove two metal rods into your back parallel with your spine to prevent you from ever bending over. I am going to screw up your intestines moving them around so they are shaped differently. I am going to cut off your feet as well as leaving an inch of lower bone exposed so you're walking on peg legs. Then finaly of course for the big reason of all the crimes against her and others you have committed rip off your manhood shove it up your large intestine like I was loading a cannon untill the build up in there finaly does explode due to the fact that you can't get up to go to the bathroom because you can't bend over, or use your hands to steady you as you attempt to get up on your peglegs. All you will be able to do is try and cry out for help with your broken mouth that spurted soo many cruel lies. You are among the worst of the people who have made me who I am.

Ah it feels nice to let that out. I know that my gf will have somthing similar planned for him when he finds out about his terrible ways.

I'm starting to come to a realization of what I really have left in my life. I know I am going to sound melodramatic with this but, it is the whining forum after all. Through thinking about my life, all I really have left are my gf, a few of the really good family members I have left, my friends in real life and all of my friends on gnet, (love you guys) and my cat. It's just, with how I've been acting when I've been alone, really sad and stuff, I'm really not sure how I'd take another loss on top of the normal sadness I've been feeling. I realize that I do have a lot to live for and have a lot left, it's just a scary thought for me. I don't want to offend anyone by blowing my very minute problem out of proportion while there are people worse off than I am.

I have felt the same way BleedingHeart.

I have many blessings to be thankful for, yet I was plagued by despondency and depression. I found out I had an organic malfunction and medicine has returned me to my normal happy-go-lucky self.

Unfortunately, I wrote my best fiction when I was depressed. Now that I am "cured" the visions that provided my stories have forsaken me.

Ah, yes, that is the price of happiness. And it is what makes sadness so beautiful

Oh for fucksakes. I ordered some boots from New Rock Las Vegas yesterday, and found out today that they are out of the model I was interested in. So now I have to wait eight bloddy weeks to have them imported from Spain. argh!

Hopefully my crin gets here within a reasonable amount of time.
