What do you do? (Hobbies, job) I'm a hairstylist, and a birth doula. I'd like to get into midwifery someday. I am a tribal belly dancer in troupe Zephyr, here in Salem Oregon, and aside from my kids, that dance takes up most of my free time.
2. Where are you from? Salem, Oregon.
3. Who is your favorite author? Thats like asking me to pick children. I don't read much right now, because I dance so much, but when I do sit down with a book, I must say I enjoy Piers Anthony a great deal. I also don't care how cliche it is, I love Anne Rice. Specifically, her erotic works. I.G. Frederick is another favorite, though much less known yet.
4. What are your favorite films? Bram Stokers Dracula, Blue Velvet, The Secretary, Anything by Quentin Tarrantino, anything with Harvey Keitel, or Gary Oldman.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding? Never again. never ever ever.
6. At your funeral? Whatever peoplewant to hear.I will not be present, so I'll leave the music choices to the friggin DJ.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? That is silly, and has nothing to do with the Gothic lifestyle. Please tell me this isn't a "Marylin Manson" goth website.
8. What kind of casket would you want? for decor...something beautifully hand carved in either ebony, or white oak, with beautiful solid silver details. For my actual death?no casket required...stuff my ass in a box and burn it already.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit? I am a leather fiend. Anything tight, and leather. PVC or Latex will do in a pinch. I am in love with lookiung at the pretty victorian dress up doll outfits, but I prefer to wear leather.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid? All that damn energy. Not having a care in the world. Not having the knowledge that fat people, old people, women, and poor people have less value in our society.
11. What's your favorite band? Sisters of mercy.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major? Midwifery.
13. Why did you join? because, I am recently separated from my husband, and I am wanting to revamp and rejuvenate my life. I'd like to start with a bedroom rennovation, and what better design ideas than right here in a nice gothic community. I don't want black walls, mind you. Something excruciatingly romantic. Wrought iron sconces, and candelabras, white candles, luxurious red velvet blankets scattered with white rose petals...on my soft inviting hand carved 4 poster bed.....you get the picture.
