| Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

the Bolshoi
I just had to make a tribute thread to one of my favorite bands of all time. The Bolshoi were very much a proto-goth band, implementing a decidedly dark spin on new wave, with subjects on religion, death, and lifestyle. They're definitely worth checking out. Go check them out now... or I'll cut myself.

I love them! They were awesome, I think they're image, though not reconignizable at first, was a total proto-goth look. They were truly great; Joy Division meets Bauhaus I'd say.

The Bolshoi were one of my favourite bands a few years ago, and I still love them. Happy Boy and Amsterdam are awesome songs.

Bolshoi are classic. I still keep away in many of my playlists when I spin. I have a few of their vids on YouTube (Away, Happy Boy, and a another one...).

"Sunday Morning" is my personal favorite. It's not directly bashing church, it's just frowning on how we all turn the cheek one day a week, and return to our dirty ways the next day.

I've only heard the song Sunday Morning and I love it, it always puts a smile on my face.

I've heard many of their songs, Sunday Morning of course. I've been looking for their albums all over the place-I lost the one I had
