Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Absolutely squat! Okay that isn't true. I'm listening to my dog snore and my fingers typing on the keyboard while trying to find a song.

Ok. I really like this tune... call me strange, I do not care.
Song: EVIDENCE.
Band: FAITH NO MORE
Look it up. Give a good listen and FEEL it, baby!
heh heh heh.
I am sorry but THAT tune has some SUBSTANCE to it.
Dig that bass line. Yeah, I played that tune with a band once upon a time far far away. I felt every line and every note in my BEING (or whatever). I am not very poetic at all so Please Excuse Me.

I Am The Sun - Swans
Their sound has been compared to the experience of sewing your eyelids shut, stapling your lips together, glueing your nostrils shut, sealing your ears with cement and then sneezing as hard as you can.
It's not that far off.

Rules of Engagement by Silicon, on the Static EP.
Stripped-down electronic music. One drum machine (with kick drums that change pitch!) and one synthesizer. Listening to it because I just received a batch of Silicon albums in the mail.
