I guess my high school has what you would call a more "conservative" dress code.
No holes above the knee, unless patched.
No spiked/studded bracelets.
No bullet belts.
No chains, though straps are allowed.
No skirts/shorts more than 2 inches above the knee.
No wearing a skirt/kilt for guys. period.
No sleeveless shirts.
No hats.
Doesn't really bug me, other than the no bullet belts part.

The district is closing the artsy/charter school I was going to go to, so know I must attend slut-central-homophobic-anti-goth-public-high-school

The two rules that don't make sense to me are "no hats because they're distracting" and "no spikes because they're potential weapons".
If you were having a really bad hair day, a hat would be far less distracting the the mess of a hairdo you have. As for the spikes, ANYTHING can be a potential weapon. Pens, paper, shoes, chairs ,hair elastics... they are all potential weapons but the school doesn't ban those!

Yeah, but spikes are only a weapon.
That was their origin, that's still their only viable use.
I would know, I use them regularly.
Idiot.

Yes, that is true but they even consider studded wrist bands "spikes". The studs on those can't even poke a hole through paper.

You can still inflict massive damage.
What you just said is the equivalent of "BRASS KNUCKLES ARE BASICALLY JUST RINGS YOU CANT CUT SOMEONE"
You can still bash their fucking nose in.
Again, they arose from the need of a weapon. They are a non-lacerative version of spikes.

My high school had a very laid back dress code. There were no ridiculous rules but of course, everyone typically abused the tolerant system. There were girls wearing the skankiest outfits, halter tops, guys with their pants sagging to kingdom come, and beer shirts.
They're supposed enforce a strict dress code next year of khaki bottoms and navy blue shirts but I just graduated so I couldn't give a flying fuck.

It's going to be really fun to see how everyone reacts to my hair on monday. For some reason no one in my school has unnatural haircolors even though its not against the rules. I just dyed my hair bright blue, it's the first time I've had my hair such a vibrant color.

Oh gawd, my school was the worst. There were poseurs dying their hair unnatural bright colors every week, Mohawks, and all kinds of funky hair. Don't worry. I'm not trying to say anything about you. I just happened to know how lame people I went to school with are.

My school is pretty sad...There are two groups at my school. The designer clothes wearing gangster wanna-bes, and the "scene" kids. Then there are 3 goths. Considering that my school has about 650 something students thats...well as I said before pretty sad.

Be nice maggot, the only spikes I wear regularly are dull tipped (but the ones I keep in my backpack are nice and sharp for that preppy bitch in the lunch line who thinks I'm not going to kick her ass for cutting in front of me).

Yeah, I know what you mean. My highschool has about 1100 students, most of which are skanks and jocks. Then there are about 10 rockers. And then there's me, the only goth. I get a bit lonely at times. *sheds tear*
The fact that most people there are low-quality is really sad, considering the fact that it's the best highschool in the whole damn country.

I hate the scene kids! I just hate them. Especially when they look at me with this curious and at the same time competative look. As if they think i were one of them and trying to be "cooler" than them.
Apart from the mainstream-subculture-kids we've got the gabbas/pseudo-gabbas and also the designer-cloths wearing stuck up snobs.
The only people I half ways get along with are the drum-n-base people. They are alternative enough for me to have fun with.
I actually like my school though. I love anaysing the people. I seem to know their habits by heart now. And I love studying what they think about me.
But I guess I do get lonely.
