Whatever's appropriate at the time...if it's a reaction caused by a minor offense or I'm around my grandmother, it's 'crap'. If it's a medium aggravation like stubbing a toe, it's 'shit'. And if it's something that really pisses me off, then I'll throw out the Queen Mother of curse words, 'Fuck'.

"Fuckknuckle" is my current fave for the way it clumps off the tongue. I like the ones that make me giggle after I say them. Like "Dickwipe" or "Lemming Titsuck".
The one I say most often is póg mo thóin

NO one really uses jódale, actually.
And yes, Fuck is the best one. It can be a verb, a noun, and even an adjective.
It's a curse, it's a request for carnal pleasure, or a command for generally masturbation, or, more precisely, self-****.

Everyone I have come across does, which is saying a lot (at least those who speak Spanish).

I speak Spanish most of the time. Joder does indeed translate to fuck, but they don't even censor it in A&E.
Anyway, I do hear 'jodete' often, but 'jodale' is funny because its inflection is directed to the formal second person singular; you know, the fancy You instead of just you.
So:
Jodete is like Fuck you
while
Jodale is like Fuck You, Sir

That is true. I forgot about that. But I do like the reaction it does get.

History of the 'F' word.
And yes, I personally am inclined to roll off a few of the far-q's when the situation calls for it.

For minor disappointments I usually say "bugger," but when serious complications arise I resort to saying "fuck." And although I never use it, I like the word "clusterfuck."

That word's from Scotland, not Discworld.
I use "crap" the most. I'm not a heavy swearer unless things are going seriously pear-shaped.

Say "(Scottish)" instead of "(Terry Pratchett)" next time or I'll slap you with a trout. Yes, even if you're in Australia. >_>

Ok sorry, what other Scottish insults are there? I haven't been in the UK for years.
I like getting weird looks when I use insults the Australians don't use or understand.

I usually say "shit" (yes, even when speaking Norwegian. For some reason, I never resort to English words when speaking German, though, and will go for the very satisfying "Scheisse"), but may say "shite" for the sake of variety, depending on how serious it is, of course. Apart from that, I'm known to use "faan" or "fanden", Norwegian version of "fuck", only it really means "devil", nitwit, dumbarse, helvete (Norwegian: "hell", but people usually take more offence at it here than in Englishspeaking countries) and drittsekk (equivalent of "bastard"). I've always been slightly amused at the word "fucktard" and the general use of the word "fuck" as demonstrated in the video linked to previously.
