I find that I actually don't mind listening to the Prodigy. I particularly like "Smack my bitch up". I will admit NO shame for still liking Slipknot. No ,I won't. They were my first alternative band. They broke me out of my safe shell and I love them for it. Besides, I tend to bottle all my feelings and anger up, and a bit of screaming and headbanging really helps sometimes. Hell, it's cheaper than paying for primal scream therapy!!!!

Diecast and Bury Your Dead are two metalcore bands from earlier times that I still enjoy.
Also...
The other day, when I was driving to my grandmother's, "Jumper" by Third Eye Blind came on an old mix CD that was playing. I sang it all the way through and was quite surprised how nice I sounded doing it.

I like *cringe* Bing Crosby, and I like Simon and Garfunkel too, but I'm not sure if they're embarrassing or not yet - but the worst has to be Runrig, I don't know if anyone has heard them or not but they're awful yet quite good...

I don't know if you have ever heard but I like some songs of Harry and the Potters. They are hilarious. Shakira is also not bad especially if you are in the mood of bellydancing

HIM, Slipknot, Evanescence, Manson, Shakira, System of a down, My Chemical Romance, Prodigy, Keane, Beatles, No Doubt, White Stripes, Rammstein, Oomph!, Aqua, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath,Linkin Park, Rasmus, Gorillaz, Pussy Cat Dolls.............
Did I already mention the "a lot of alcohol" part?
No, but seriously: Some of these bands have songs one can really rock to.

I'm not really embarrassed by any of the bands listen to. I do have to hang my head in shame around here for mentioning that I am a huge System Of A Down fan. I have been since Toxicity was released.

I love System of a Down. I'm a bit of a new fan, but I love all their stuff. I also admit to enjoying HIM, and I'm not sure whether or not diecast merits a nod of shame. I think almost every band out there has at least one song I can tolerate

I thought i was going to be original when i listed Willie Nelson, but I see Draconysius beat me to it.
mmmmmm let me see ... Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Doors, Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears, Cryin Shames, Gladys Knights and the Pips, Temptations, Led Zepplin, Iron Butterfly.... but I'm not truely embarassed .... Those bands WERE cutting edge when i started listening to them. Clapton still is.

I love loads of bands that people would think was embarrassing. I like Lordi as well, ohh and that guy Mika he's awsome. The most embarrassing thing is when I was younger me and my mate went to see Good Charlotte live and I've also seen Avril Lavigne live aswell. *Bows head in shame*

I really like Chimaira, Stampin' Ground, Killswitch Engage, and Diecast (metalcore bands). They often use very pop-friendly-hooks (excluding Chimaira and Stampin Ground), but I still loves em. Five Foot Thick are a great nu-metal band that never made it too.

I posted in this thread already under an old name, but...I will fully admit to having Ricky Martin's entire discography, along with Shakira. I'm part Latina, so Spanish music will always hold a special place for me.
Also Justin Timberlake and Eminem. Explanation? Well...I don't have one. :x
