Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Give us a picture so we can work out how you'd look with these things- some people suit those styles, others really don't.

Is over five days resurrecting? -shrugs-
Anyways, for lack of any better wording, my hair looks damn awful. I tried dying it brown-red, that didn't turn out. I tried dying it burgundy, that didn't turn out either. Now, what I have is a kind of golden brown for most of it, and a bit of purple around the top where the burgundy took.
Also, not really relevent, but I figured I'd mention, about a year ago, I stripped the red dye out of my hair (yes, myself, it was stupid) and dyed it blonde. Now the part of my hair that won't take dye at all, is the part I dyed blonde so long ago.
What I'm getting at, what shall I do with it? I can't figure out what I'm going to do with it, I hate the way it looks. I really don't want to re-dye, just to have it not take again. My hair's gotten pretty fried, so I don't want to bleach or anything. I just don't know what to do to make it look just a little better.

Well though I'm new here and all I was wondering if you guys have any sugestions on what would be a good idea to do with my hair. I do plan on redying it black and idk about a other color yet. I know I want a shorter style and that the front will be above my eye brows. I can't link photos so that is a problem. But the best description I can give is my hair in the back is about down to my shoulders and the front is about to my jaw. I know that I do want it to be to my eyebrows in the front I really don't know want to do for the back. I know the color is going to be black still thinking about a secondary color.

I have never had them but I will ask some of the hippies here at school as most of them have quite lovely dreads

Time has come again, people. I need a new hairstyle as I am sick of seeing the same thing in the mirror everyday. I'm for anything as long as I don't have to cut my hair an extreme amount.

hm...I'm not so sure that would work so well with your face shape, I think your best bet is to get a new style but keep the length about where it is

I'm thinking of dying my hair two different colors: Black underneath and either bleach blond or red red red on top.

Oh my! Sekhy, you may want to change your font color; it is terribly difficult to see! x_x;;;
About the hair: Perhaps you are right, but I think it depends on how much of it you do. I am already a 'dirty' blonde [no tasteless jokes please], so going bleach blonde isn't a huge deviance.
Besides which, my employer may appreciate blond on black more than bright red on black..:/
Ahh, the lovely corporate machine!

I'm pretty sure that had more to do with the girl than the colour itself
I'm planning a major cut and dye soon

Okay so for some reason the only one of the hippy chicks that I could find yesterday has never had dreads, apparently the ones that do at a bit busy with school and work, I shall try to snag a moment of their time later today

I done the black underneath and red/purple on top.
But because I had dyed my hair before the purple streaks I wanted didnt show up. Oh wells.
Looks great in the sun though! And when it's not greasy >_<

Cool!
I would -love- to have black with red streaks [or red with black streaks] but I am not sure I could do it on my own.
