Just saw pics of an ex gf with new baby...
I got a email from a friend saying "Look at her new pics!!!".
I was wondering "who's pics"? So I click the link and I saw pics of my ex gf (that dumped me 3 or 4 yrs ago), with her newborn baby.
I had a lot of mixed emotions on this this whole thing.
First: I was happy for her that she finally has a child she wanted because she always wanted to be a mother.
Second: I got a little sad/depressed when a flashback of when she had a miscarriage with our baby when we were together and I was so devastated afterwards that I wanted us to try again to concieve.
Third: I was kinda angry because I wished that was my child and not this other guy's because I wasn't given a chance beforehand.
Somehow I think she wanted me to see these pics to rub it in my face or something. grrrrr.
I wished I never saw those pics. It will haunt me for a bit, but oh well, it's her loss.
Then again, maybe it's better that I wasn't the father anyways.

You know...you most likely would've found out anyway, sooner or later. :/
Doesn't hurt any less because of that, but the initial shock is over with. The point is you're still alive, and you'll have plenty more chances of becoming a father.

As I posted in the thread "Fathers" in the General section, I am a father of 2 teenagers. However, I was hoping for a third and this time keeping a family together. I always got dumped by the mothers and never got the chance to there as a full-time father.

Oh but at least you have had kids. I do not know to this day if I will ever get married, I have never been on a date and I am seventeen. I probably will not get a date until college, or maybe even later.

You’re a handsome man darkgentlemen, I know you’ll find a gal that will be cutter and certainly much warmer and kinder than your ex.
Trust me if you were the father of that baby then you would have to deal with her and who knows how that would have worked out. It was probably better that things worked out the way they did.

Make yourself feel better by spending time with your kids. When my dad is depressed or mad at my mom, we go to used book stores or work on the plane. You're a really cool person, so I bet you'll find somebody soon.

Seriously- I don't know what you're so worried about. Try reaching 25. And then voice those concerns. You're only 17. You have no idea how much of your life you still have ahead of you.

I only want one kid after I've established myself in the world. Just one. Maybe two.
It's funny, because I can picture my house, my career, these kids, but no spouse. That can't be good.....(grins a little)

::snort, giggle, guffaw:: Yah, a bus accident would be inconvenient.
As for girlfriends and boyfriends: flirt, be witty, and make sure you feel good about yourself before you concern yourself with anyone else.

Eh. It is what it is. Like you, I can picture my house, kids and career, but nowhere is there a spouse in the mix.

You know, in retrospect of everything, let the good times be the most prominent in your memory. Could have beens, are always the killer.
And remember, unless you're dead, life isn't over yet.
