When in doubt, just put them on ignore. As for Spright/Bloopie/etc... the same. Why let them get to you?

Frankly, it takes a lot to get banned here. And that is probably a good thing as I have made some rather foul statements myself from time to time, you son of a motherless goat. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

:P

That does sound interesting.

A Shoutbox, FlashChat, or Blog area would be nice.

Before all the 'Fiction' and 'Articles' and 'Board' links were all up the top of the screen, on the front page there used to be a list of the threads recently posted in. I liked that.

I know I posted this before, but how about we un-ban words that are names of other websites, like in the example above?

Sternn: liabilty stuff

I'd appreciate it if the mods would deal with trolls a bit better. Like send them warning messages or something.

There are people on this site who call anyone that disagrees with them a troll. We get post reports calling various people trolls all the time from some people here, calling out others they are debating or participating in flame wars with. We used to have a heavier hand and it seemed unpopular, now we are giving more slack and people are complaining about that too.

In our opinion, people should learn to deal with trolls on this site better themselves. Have the responsibility not to feed them. Put them on ignore. Don't try out your 'witty' one liners for three pages and then send us a post report calling for their banning and such. They are trolls, so it's really not shocking that they act exactly like trolls act when you fall for their game.

Give me, DHD, Draco, and Jilli mod powers.

We certainly won't abuse them, god no.

Okay, maybe I would.

I trust the rest of them, though!

I wouldn't hold your breath that I'll ever get mod powers. I can understand why, though. A mod probably ought to be more impartial, and less bitchy, and I do tend to be on the bitchy side.

If I were to recommend a mod, I'd recommend HumanePain. I've never seen him lose his temper, no matter how rude or stupid someone is. I can see him being very good at modding for Gnet.

Just to add my two cents in, I think that HumanePain, Godslayer Jillian, Maggot, MollyMac, DarkHearteDemoness and Draconysius would be good mods.

There are plenty of people who would make good mods, but if there were any plans of getting any new ones and the Gnet gods wanted our opinion, I think we'd know.

We really appreciate all those people's contributions already. Moderators should be a bit more detached.

If people actually use the "report" function, the current mod(s?) don't seem to miss much.

The mod thing did not work out before. Just more use of the ignore and report functions would be swell.

A limited mod thing might work. Make the mods known, and all issues a reported to them. They look through it and determine whether or not something really is an issue. For example, if a bunch of people say that so-and-so is stalking them, that would definitely be an issue. But if a single person said that they didn't like someone's attitude, that's not much of an issue. The mods would then relay the important issues to the admin. Beyond that, they'd have no power.
