I too should post some stuff, but I have too much, and no decent scanner to do myself justice. So you'll just have to wait, for now.

That scan of mine sucks. I think I'm going to take a picture.

I am in love with a lot of the pictures posted here. Everyone is so very talented!
Blood - http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...henewblack.jpg I think that's my favorite of yours so far. It's absolutely beautiful.

This is something I drew on a scrap of paper in the bar two days ago. I had some inspiration from an album cover I saw, but I can't remember what band it was

(the ********** stuff is Devian Art, replace that, if you will)
My Deviant Profile, has a few drawings, a few fotos and oh, PLEASE check out my dollies. I haven't been creating them for long so I'd love to get some feed-back and commentary on them, if this isn't too much or wrong to ask.. : )

I liked the first one, even though I don't know what it is.

Its Manjushri, he's a bodhisattva, which is kinda like a Buddhist saint, they renounce nirvana and promise to come back after death so that they can help more people become enlightened. Manjushri is the Bodhisattva of Understanding, his sword is meant to cut through delusion. I'd like to redraw that one because his proportions are not correct, but overall I like this one because it was the first big drawing I did with a nib ^_^

La Belle, I like the first one but the second link won't work for me!
Xombie, I love your style, and that last painting in particular is very powerful >.< The thought of curve stomping really bothers me.

Wow La Belle! Those are amazing! The Cockatrice is amazing but I like the detail you did with the rooster, actually it reminds me of Beatrix Potter ^_^

Thanx. I did the rooster in under an hour with a sharpie, and later had to shoot it onto a photo-litho plate and print it on good paper because the newsprint was starting to die and get yellow >.<
So my rooster is now on pure, acid-free rag paper.
I think they should invent a paper that has the same printing qualities as newsprint but doesn't disintegrate. I love how lithographies turn out on newsprint, but obviously it's not a suitable paper for anything to really sell.

This one is just a preliminary sketch for a larger mixed media I will be doing.

TheBloodEternity: I'd like to see the final when you finish it. What kind of colours are you going to use? Will it be shaded? Will it be primarily dark or light? Etc?

Oh, feck. I've got this to do, before Sunday. In oil.
I really shouldn't have put it off so much.

I just finished it half an hour ago, I'll upload a pic tomorrow.
It's a mixed media piece. I copied it three times, one on white paper one on gray and an inverted one on black. It's all on a board and... well you guys will see it tomorrow.
Duane: Well I've been drawing since I was 7 or 8, primarily dragons up through 10. I didn't really get serious about it until 2 years ago.

It looks fairly thinly painted, at least.

I started drawing a lot when I was in grade 8, and kept getting more and more into it. Then last year I decided "Fuck everything else," and cut out most things that got in the way of art. I am a happier person because of it.
I have 4 paintings to do in 5 weeks, and they're all 4x5 feet. >.< And they involve people

I finished two graphics. Once again I am exempifying women and femininity in an attempt to separate the images of men and women, so if anyone has a problem with that, don't click on the link.
