A few years ago at Reading festival ,I nearly got my face smacked in by some cockmonkey guy on speed or some other drug, We were watching the Prodigy ( too loud even as far away as we were, they ruined it ) and this complete fannydribble of an idiot was just going mental in front of me. I don't even know what sort of dancing it was meant to be, but he was kicking and flailing his arms in time to "Smack my bitch up" like the apocalypse was impending. His huge hand missed my face by centimeters

Again, a few years ago ( a year or two after Reading I think ), I went to the Download festival and nearly got killed in an Amen moshpit that spontaneously began around me Luckily a really nice guy with red dreadlocks noticed I was in the throes of suffering, and offered to lift me out. Of course, I had to quickly inform him that I was twice his weight and that he would definitely need assistance, so he got all these big blokes around us to heave my enormity out of the hellish fray. What a nice man

A few hours after that, we were watching Iron Maiden, eating Maxibon ice creams * drool * , when a BMI jet flew over REALLY low ( Donnington race park is right next to East Midlands airport ) during " Bring your daughter to the slaughter" . Amazing timing.

Last night was pretty insane. The first time a mosh pit has actually kicked my ass. Still didn't come away with any bruises or anything like that.

A guy landed on my head, crowd surfed a few times (I swear I kicked someone in the face with my boot), actually fell a few times, punched a few people in the chest/face, did a good amount of shin kicking, lost the plug in my left ear and the bandana off my head. By the time the show was over, I was tired, weak and sore as hell. Unfortunately I still didn't sleep too well.

i know this sounds sad.. but last summer i went to a free taking back sunday concert. i really thought i was gunna pass out or get trampled if it wasnt for my friend joe. i saw 5 people break there nose, a girl get a glass bottle smashed her head, and my friend joe was dropped while crowd surfing and he passed out haha. what was scary was when i couldnt find my brother and i thought he was in a mosh pit.. but he really just got beer poured all over him. aparently someone died at that show. i wouldnt doubt it. there was sooo many people because it was a free show.

but i think the best concert experience i had was when i saw kill hannah/strata at the living room in RI. i kept spacing out when strata was on and eric (the lead singer) huged me during a song.. it was so random yet amazing. i thought he was going to do a stage dive or something and wanted me to help him up.. but he just hugs me and says you look like you need a hug. he was totally on something but he kept coming over and touching my face haha >_<

Last year I was on holiday in Vancouver and my mates took me to the Warped Tour, (My first concert , in Cumbria nobody comes except Elton John and McFly) Anyhoo I got stuck in The Casualties circle pit and about 8 HUGE punks looked like they were going to eat each other ran up to me shouting and spitting at me, so Amanda (who's 19) had to drag me out by my little finger and we had to sit outside the circle and watch where I wouldn't be killed .

And I watched most of the shows at the side bit that was really close, but quiet, only at the end I realised it was the stoner bit where everyone kept away from the smoke and shit.... Explains why I came home thinking It was Christmas o_0

Not particularly wild, but a bloody awesome show - Fields of the Nephilim last thursday at the Astoria. I saw a few people I recognized from this place. (but I can't remember names 'cause they were here before I stopped posting for a while)

I found my hand in a video someone took there, but it's for less than a second...

Anyway that was a bloody incredible concert, although not particularly wild.
