Allo!

Guten Tag!!! Call me "evil_hell" or Arius whichever suits you best! I hope to meet some like minded individuals....I've read the suggestions for introduction and well, here are my answers: (think about response 14 "critically" before you flame)

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)

I’m a mature Univ. student looking to change his career from crappy high tech sweatshop job to a more satisfying career in music, i.e., the “imitation of the divine”. I’m, a composer at heart but from a ‘practical’ viewpoint I want to be a music teacher…And when I feel inspired I write not only music but also poetry…

2. Where are you from?

T-Dot. (Toronto or Hollywood North in case you’re wondering)

3.. Who is your favorite author?

Whoa, too many to list…Rice, King, Goethe, Wilde, Shakespeare….

4. What are your favorite films?

Immortal Beloved, Amadeus, Dracula 1992, and any cheesy b-rated horror/sci-fi movies your can muster…I love’em all

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?

Either the “Brandenburg Concerto No.3” by Herr Johann Sebastian Bach OR
”Ode to Joy” from the 9th Symphony Chorale by Herr Ludwig Van Beethoven

6. At your funeral?

Either “Requiem” by Herr Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart OR
Love Song for a Vampire by Annie Lennox

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?

Whilst composing a masterpiece wherein I get a glimpse of divinity…
As Beethoven did when he was in the woods one day and wrote in his journal: “Holy, Holy ecstasy in the woods!!! Who can express it all?” And yes, just like Herr Von Beethoven, I LOVE red wine...who knows, maybe I'll pass out whilst under the influence and writing my masterpiece...

8. What kind of casket would you want?

The shape of a treble clef.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?

All things dark and evil…but mostly bondage jeans, Demonia Boots (Gravel 14 and Ravage II) at one extreme…at the other extreme I’d wear Victorian clothing; yes the cheesy Elegant brocade fitted tail coat in chancery design with matching Brocade jeans and pointy Dracula Winkle pickers...I buy my clothing from http://www.x-tra.de.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?

Not having a care in the world…my youthful spirit…before the weight of the world crushed it! Lousy world! **shakes fist**

11. What's your favorite band?

Honestly I don’t have a favorite per se, but I do enjoy anything that has a dark(er) theme, so any metal i.e., Blind Guardian, Tristania, Yngwie Malmsteen, et. al. (no major labels!), industrial music (Rammstein) is good but above all classical, as I am a hardcore neo-classicist and post-romanticist!!
checkout www.postromanticism.com

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?

I was an electronics major, but I got all stressed out from working in that field and opted out because there are too many shit heads working in that field (i.e. bend over and take it up the ass) so I opted for a field that more closely matches what’s in my heart (which is music) regardless of money!!!

13. Why did you join?

I hope to hook up with like-minded individuals who share my view of this so-called world…

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?

Male, and No, I’m not a feminist…In fact, I believe in a totally phallocentric, Eurocentric, male dominated western canon for all the arts that excludes all “others”...Why? Because masterpieces are divinely inspired. I believe in a divine intervention in the arts and that NOT everyone is an artist (as most post-modernists will preach, don’t get me started on that shit head Andy warhol…what a loser...and yes, modernism and post-modernism sucks!)...Yes, go ahead and flame away…I simply don’t care because the more you flame, the more the western art canon gets reified (i.e., is made more supreme and almighty). There is a clear distinction between divinely inspired art and “degenerate” art lol and yes, jazz music sucks too!!!

Obviously, you are free to share other interesting or pertinant information, but we thought it would be nice to give you some guidelines for the basics.

Hmm…I would but…after question 14, I don’t know...Maybe I would stir up too much controversy…even on a "gothic" board.

OK, I liked you until I read your answer to number 14. I don't understand what not being a feminist has to do with creating beautiful art. So in other words, you don't think the songs by Siouxsie and The Banshees is good because she is a woman? Please explain.

Welcome to the boards.
I'll just tell you, regardless of your opinions, never begin here by believing you'll stir up some controversy.
It sounds more like one wants to be special rather than really being so.
You have no idea how many people come here believing they will get a lot of negative attention for reasons such as:
Being Christian.
Liking music other than goth.
Being black.
Believing they are vampires.

Um...talk some more and explain about your answer for 14. Other than that, I think I like you. Do you come from Toronto as in Canada? If so, you have brownie points.

Well, the last one is.. yea, I'd have to say.. um..

I, personally, cannot resist putting in my two cents when it comes to people believing they are vampires. Depending, of course, but when someone thinks they can turn into a bat or something, I HAVE to comment..

Arbitrary presumptions, arbitrary presumptions, and more arbitrary presumptions.
I would have liked you, were it not for the fact that you have to continuously reassure your own ego by making false suppositions.

You got points for Amadeus, your taste in music and where you buy your clothes.

As for #14- What does not being a feminist have to do with anything? Especially art? I too believe in a phallocentric (but not Eurocentric for my own personal reasons) male dominated most things, but really- I think you might want to tone it down.

I get the feeling you don't have a very eclectic taste in music. Am I wrong?

Being long winded will not serve you well. At least not here.
Being an ass will not go over well.
And lastly, welcome to the boards; where you too are special!

false assumptions? I think not...You attack me without even hearing me out. Do you honestly think that is fair?

Well, when I attacked you before hearing you, but what I attacked was your presumption that I wouldn't hear you, am I not just mocking your presumption?
In any case, I didn't attack your opinions, I attacked the little you said about us 'being afraid of the male dominated power'.

Please don't take this as an attack, but your board has not allowed me to post my rebuttal, which will put things in better perspective to you and others on this board. I cannot say anything without saying it in full...Thus, if if your board is unwilling to accept my side of the story, all of your opinons are unfairly stacked against me!! I will not sit here and type for two hours to prove my point. I have better things to do...such as write my next concerto for three violins and two guitars + bass!!!

Why in Hades would it not allow your rebuttal?
If it's too long, my second advice would be: break it up in smaller posts.
But my first advice would be: be more laconic.

There's nothing wrong with saying what you need to in full, but why use 10 words if you can use 5 to say the same thing?

I am very interested in reading your rebuttal though.

Relax and tak a chill pill. No one's here to antagonise you just for the sake of it. I'd have to point out, though, that you've been ignoring the questions put up by other members and avoiding reason like the plague. Now, lastly, if you think that board is rejecting your rebutals then just state it simply. No one here has to see the soft belly of your insecurity when you babble about conspiracies to antagonise your political views.

In any case, welcome to Gnet.

Because every time I try to post this fucking piece of shit board says that I have URLs, when clearly, there is no fucking URLs in my rebuttal..Again I say to all who are interested, since this is going absolutely nowhere, please PM me and I will fill you in.

I will not and I refuse to break it up into smaller posts because it's another test as to who can read the longest with out getting distracted (this ties into my rebuttal, which you board is still not interested in allowing me to posts)

LMFAO~! Laconic? WTF?? Male=artist female = muse. K? If this doesn't make sense then your board should allow me to post my rebuttal fully with no restrictions!!

I don't understand your point. Are you saying that a female can't be an artist?

Good goth...a Male Dominated society? What will matter if somone ruling this utterly dreaded earth has a sperm spewing penis or a vagina when really one should focus on the quality of that person. Anyone who is generally sexiest needs to realise that the Romans were idiots (I am, most definately referring to the ancient Male-dominated Roman times) just going to give you a welcome to this beautiful goth place-though I am going to say that I disgree with your views on women.
