Invisible
People dont see me...I smile at them and they scowl. I laugh and they cry themselves to sleep. People look at me through their tinyeyelids and all they see is the face on the corner of the wall, every little mask that dances- carried by the wave of sanity I'm lacking. I try to make myself visible, but every inch of me is bitter, I am bitter to the world- a lost cause. As every moment reflects in this portable mirror- where i paint myself like the moon, a smiling facade for the world. I have my wasted intentions, that drip exhausted from the cold metal pipes that crawl through the halls of this school where I havent been, this church where i havent prayed and this room of my own where i was lost to the only one that ever mattered-myself.

Oh my god, that was wonderful... Let the sheep follow the stream while we laugh at them behind their backs, ey?

Very prophetic, perhaps a little too abstract for me to really be of aid. Learn to take pride in yourself, and find a renewed vigor in life. There is a great quote that I think suits this thread perfectly:
"Suspect each moment for it is a thief tiptoeing away with more than it brings."
If you don't learn to take pride in your life, nobody else will do it for you. Every day is what you make of it.

I remember thinking and feeling that way. I found that when I stop worrying about myself and get involved with others, that I become visible. Look them in the eye and smile anyway, and if they scowl, either ignore them and carry on with your head held high, or ask them "what's wrong?" with sincerity. Their answer may surprise both of you.

Enjoy your invisibility. Fuck knows I enjoy mine immensely. There is much to see when you are invisible.

I couldn't see myself living being invisible.
If I were you, I would join a couple of activities, and while you do not have to try and be extroverted, don't be shy to meet the people around you.
It's hard (but not impossible) to meet people in, say, school when you've been in it for several years and still haven't talked to them; it's a lot easier to meet people you have never seen before, that's why I recommend extracurricular activities.

Invisibility has its perks. Once they notice you, they won't stop noticing you.
