Hello Everyone
Hello
I am new here, and well, this is my introduction thread.
I am a bit all over the place when it comes my tastes...
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Well. I have a job at a retreat center. My hobbies are varied, and my new interest is herb gardening. I also like music, trying to play music, reading, dancing, spinning around in circles, writing, and I'm sure other things I'm not remembering at the moment.
2. Where are you from?
Lancaster County, Pennsylvania... probably one of the most boring places on earth, unfortunately.
3. Who is your favorite author?
The author of whatever book I'm enjoying at the moment, I really can't say; it constantly changes.
4. What are your favorite films?
Probably Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Party Monster, The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things, and the Sound of Music; I really need to watch more movies.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
They're Coming to take me away by Neuroticfish , anything by Bauhaus, or else songs chosen at random with no particular theme in mind.
6. At your funeral?
Well, there's a long list but maybe the Dance of Dead Children by Lydia Lunch, Sopor Aeternus, Seabound, and then trippy, psychadelic stuff with no words.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Well, the weirder the story to tell at the funeral the better, so I suppose one hot summer day I would be abducted by battery acid inhaling drag queens and stuffed in the trunk of their bright yellow sports car. This would have momentarily blinded me with it's brightness, and, as I become aware of my surroundings, heat, blindness and extreme claustrophobia would then combine to make me hallucinate an army of giant chinchillas all named Rufus. They hypnotize me into a trance- like state with their incredibly shiny fur. Unfortunately, the drag queens, OD'ing at this point, drive directly into a road side barbeque and plow straight through the grill, and flip the car into a bonfire that just happened to be there. Trapped in the trunk, I begin to burn, still hypnotized and talking to army of chinchillas. The car explodes, ashes and sparks fly everywhere; my ashes are sprayed direcly onto the meat being grilled and it is all eaten by the oblivious bystanders.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
One of those vampire type ones just because I can, or else an extremely heavy one made entirely out of concrete.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I don't often wear the same outfit a lot, I like to mix things up. I do have a "military" outfit I like though. I wear white nylons and boots with a short black skirt and a blazer that is rather military looking. I usually like military style clothing, flowy clothing, anything fishnet, or just plain unexpected things.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Probably all the toys, especially those older ones that you can't find now for all the more technological stuff.
11. What's your favorite band?
I have about 50 and they change according to my mood. Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Hanzel und Gretyl, Marilyn Manson, Angelspit, Pink Floyd, The Cruxshadows, Alice in Chains, Type O Negative, and Frankenstein Drag Queens are some more "mainstream" ones that come to mind. I love music and I'll listen to almost anything once.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm 16, still in highschool, and as of this moment I really don't know.
13. Why did you join?
I found this website by accident and after looking around a bit, I realized I liked the atmosphere. That sounds cliche, I suppose, but the people definitely seems interesting and intelligent.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
female, I suppose..
If you happen to have any more questions about me , feel free to ask.
I feel like I should write more, but my caffeine high is wearing off and I believe I shall sleep soon...

I love your imagination in describing your death, especially the Chincillas!
^_^ And you have good taste in music, so Welcome to Gnet I say, Welcome!
Oh, and we have a bat for our Gnet mascot, but maybe our bat could have an assistant mascot chinchilla. With purple fur. And four piercings in each ear. And a black dyed tail. And a spiked collar.

You are supposed to post this in your own thread not someone else's. You do that by going to the Introductions top level forum, and then clicking on "newthread", then post your answers to the Intro questions like this person did.

Go Bauhaus and the SIsters. Currently I have obsessed over both, specifically because I had a dream about Andrew Eldritch. Just saw PartY mOnster yesterday and it blew me away, and I usually hate Seth Green. And I supose I am male
