Yay first comment
You think I should add some kind of corsety lace to the front?

Forgive me, I forgot to say that you did an awesome job for a first dress.
I can think of many ways to add a nice finish to it.
I would say the lace would do nicely as well as satin (shiny or matte). I was gonna say Chiffon, but it's very tricky to sew with sometimes. I would avoid sewing too many patterned fabrics on the same garment or otherwise it will look clashy, example: stripes and polka dots on the same outfit.
When it comes to sewing, it never hurts to experiment to see the creativity expanding to the style you may be looking for.
Good luck and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful creations.

Aww haha thanks anyway ^^ I can sort of sew by hand, but not very well, very straight or very quickly. I've never used a machine though, they are quite expensive too :/.
It would be great to be able to do it though, I have such a hard time finding nice clothes big enough to fit me, that it would be easier to sew things myself.
