A Polite Hello

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)

I am a household administrator. (That was my attempt at making being a
Housewife sound more interesting and authoritative.)

2. Where are you from?

Hmmm….I would say I’ve spent much of my life hiding under a rock, but I’m from the great Midwestern state of Iowa.

3. Who is your favorite author?

Lewis Carroll

4. What are your favorite films?

I’m not much of a movie watcher. I spent far too much time sitting at my computer.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?

I’m already married and we didn’t have a song played.

6. At your funeral?

“Kiss Them For Me” Siouxsie and the Banshees

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?

I plan on dying as quickly and as painlessly as possible.

8. What kind of casket would you want?

None, I plan on being cremated.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?

I don’t really have one. I prefer wearing jeans and t-shirts; occasionally I’ll drag out my ankle length skirts.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?

I miss not having any responsibilities.

11. What's your favorite band?

I have an extensive list of favorites. Topping my list right at the moment is Darian Stavans and Skinny Puppy.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?

I have had the experience of one year of college. My main focus of study was graphic design.

13. Why did you join?

I’ve been lurking for several months and thought, “Why not?”

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?

I am a female.

Welcome dear Lady. Your avatar bears a striking resemblance to one our members, Pyre. She later to changed to a double pair of eyes, so I think it will be ok to use it, but it may result in you receiving some confusing posts from other older members who may confuse you for her.

Anyway, I like the small glimpse you have given us into your taste for music. Welcome!

Ha! I love it!

Lewis Caroll is my main man too, I loved Alice Through The Looking Glass, one of my favorite books.
We even did a play of it, it was the White King (with an accent that can at the very best be called "Europian" >_> ).

Anyway, welcome aboard.

Thank you all for the friendly welcomes. Who knew my goofy av would receive such a response? If it becomes too confusing for anyone, I can easily change it.

I am quite the sucker for cats, also. Of course my owning three of my own wouldn’t in the slightest bit be an indication.

To Ishkabibble, I plan on staying as nice as I possibly can. I would rather gain someone’s respect through being tactful than being nasty.

To Edward Strange, Lewis Carroll has been a favorite of mine since I was a child.

Heh, Humane, I was thinking the same thing.

Well, welcome, Miss-Happy-Cat-who-is-not-Pyre!!!!

Why if it isn't Miss Cray! Welcome back! It seems like it has been many months since I last read your posts. Have you seen the last Danny Phantom episode, "Phantom Planet"? Awesome!

Whoa. That is one happy cat in the avatar.

"Household administrator," I like that. I don't know what I'd be... professional chair-sitter or something <_<

Welcome to these forums, yes?

Thank you, Romantic Raven.

Ha ha! Professional chair sitter, that seems to fit into my list of duties. Only I would label it, official, animate chair weight. Someone has to hold this chair down.

Household adminstrator, eh? Hehe, I love it. I suppose I'm the bed-and-pillows tester.

You get points for Lewis Carrol and Skinny Puppy, who I'm only now discovering. But enough about authors and emaciated canines...your avatar RULES! (In case you'd forgotten all those other posts saying the same thing.)

By the way, did I mention that I love Cedar Rapids Iowa? I know it is on the other side of the state, but it has really cool cemeteries, Oak Lawn Cemetery being my favorite. And it has the Cedar Rapid Chophouse; great filet mignons!

Come see Woodland Cemetary and we'll take you to 801 Steak and Chop House.

Not my pics. I haven't had a chance to get out there with my camera.
